Yeah, buy some of those tasteless tomatoes from the grocery store,
slice one up & plant the slices & a plant will sprout. THEN, taste what
an allowed to ripen on the vine tomato tastes like & then you will
know how delicious those tomatoes in the store are SUPPOSE to taste
like. BUT, they pick them green & gas them in the backroom of the
grocery to redden them & put them out on the tables for you to buy.

i have planted same as uve shown here. maybe a bit more soil on top of the tomato slices. so is it normal for the soil to smell? it smells bad of like rotten stuff.
