I'm guessing this was patched. The ducks aren't dropping fowls. Sucks that this daily came only once in a blue moon

POV: how to kill timmies birds on another level

Simpler method: go to the northern most house in Konda Village. NE of the Sweet Flower (near the blue flowers on the ground). Log out, log in. "Warden of Konda" friendship quest is to kill birds. 5 spawn every time, takes maybe 10 seconds MAX per run if you use Aloy to just run up, nuke them with her bomb, collect, and run back to the blue flower. Even when you stop getting "rewards" (eg. companion EXP and various small goodies) the quest will still spawn the birds.
