Wonder (2017 Movie) Official Trailer #2 - “Brand New Eyes” – Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson

I’m reading the book now in school and decided to watch the trailer this is such a good book 10/10 RECCOMENDED

I remember that when I was in 6th grade
We had to study about this movie "Wonder"
But it was a novel of it
I also feel bad for August :(
He was a very bright and wonderful kid :)

If trailer made me cry, novel will do the more.

- It's a long one, but worth it I promise. -

When I was younger, I had a sickness since 2-5th grade that made me look a lot different than the other kids.
I moved to a new school in the late 2nt grade, and with my ADHD it made making friends even harder.
Kids would look at me weird, kids would ask if it's contagious, and the doctors didn't even know what was wrong.

After months of struggling to fit in, I was at recess and I got "stuck" at the top of one of the climbing toys, before I could get down, the whistle blew and everyone was leaving.
I was the only one left on the playground as teachers yelled at me to get down and that recess was over.
But I was too scared to get down. And even the recess teachers didn't want to help me down cause of my sickness.

Then, one of my classmates, ran up and helped me down. we sat together at lunch, we had a little time afterschool, she is my friend to this day manny years later because she had the courage to love me no matter how I looked, and then when she left the school I found other kids with disorders like me, and we became close friends! One with autism, one with OCD, and others with ADHD we were so close and could relate to each other in so many ways.

In the summer of 5th grade, It went away and even though new people became my friends they felt like family. for so long, hours every day spent together, we had become a family. Not through blood, of course. But through love.

And that's why this movie hits hard, it's really close to my childhood so it hits different, you know? <3

I’m watching this movie at my school in two days

This movie really brings back a lot of nostalgia for me!🥲😁 I remember when this movie first premiered when I was 11 and now I’m 15. And now rewatching it after 4 years this movie really holds a great place in my heart!❤️😢 I honestly miss when the world was happy and everyone was enjoying their lives!😭

I've seen Treacher Collins syndrome before. In comparison to some of the affected people I've seen, Auggie looks almost normal.
You can't blend in when you were born to stand out.

People can be good

I read this novel in school!!! August was the best even tho he looks different will still be the same, Jack was the nicest I have seen :D
