ОтветитьAmazing old footage, but sad to think after the horrors of WW1, these people had no idea that another world war was only 15 years away :(

ОтветитьSt ives is like a second home, visited there so many times in my life time and its cool to see what the place looked like back in 1925.
Ответить@BigWig2Big WTF? IS THAT REALLY NECESSARY?
Ответитьit's here shark's?
Ответитьwłaśnie w st.ives angol dostał reklamówką w łeb.ale było śmiesznie!!!
ОтветитьI have just moved here and there i can tell where everything is!
ОтветитьI bet the houses in the film are worth a few £££s today. I bet the people who lived in them then would've been glad to get out of them. Funny how things change.
Ответитьis it Bethesda hill at beginning...I used to live on there ; 0 great vid
Ответить@randomdave30 Short but sweet.
ОтветитьHello MadamMiaow!
ОтветитьA wonderful fleeting glimpse of a bygone era...
ОтветитьMy mother was born in St Ives 1921 and I was just thinking the little toddler could be her and my grandfather, but I will never know.
ОтветитьLovely! The colour film makes it look more realistic to a modern audience than black & white as you can really see how little St. Ives has changed, all that seems different are the fashions and the washing hanging up in the street!
Ответитьso idyllic, it looks so peaceful! i wonder if the toddler at the end might even still be alive.. they would be 87 or 88 by now! it's wierd to think but it could be possible!
ОтветитьGreat video, wish it were longer though
Ответитьgreat video of the old st ives !! have you got anymore ??
ОтветитьThis is a little gem but it's so short.
