It is interesting that the government's shareholding and, therefore, the peoples shareholding was sold off before the mega profits declared.
All part of the plan. Corruption at its best.

Does anyone remember when the German's wanted to open a bank like a credit union in Ireland(2010) ? It would have made it easier to get a loan to buy a house in Ireland, but E. Kenny said no. Must check it out myself. But he was the worst of the worst. Thank you for the video.

The Irish banks are where they are because of the 2008 bailout at the expense of the taxpayer. Back then the word of the day was ‘austerity’.
Austerity for the sheep but not for the wolves

Why is there not a cap on salarys ? Those bankers should be helping out people who helped them all out in 2008

But remember you cant get a mortgage for a home at a pay rate of 1400 euro a month but you easily pay 2k a month for rent in a crap hole.

Raising interest rates is for one reason only, to reward money with free state handouts out money. They cut benefits for the most needy and hand free cash to those who need it least.
Look at bank profits and how they trebled or quadrupled since the unnecessary rate hikes
Interest rates DO NOT control inflation they are in themselves inflationary.
There’s not one central bank study that proves any link - ever

No regulation of the banking sector in Ireland.Timothy Geitner head of the US federal reserve prior to the appointment of Janet Yellen, called Ireland 'the wild west of banking'.Nothing has changed since 2010.

Peter, it never fails to amaze me that when people are presented with facts such as these, they comment, click 'like', express how disgusted they are and then fall back into a state of near catatonia. Protests attract c.10,000 people. However if a pointless profit-generating sport-ball competition is scheduled, up to 80,000 can be guaranteed to almost stampede in order to attend. In my opinion, the GAA is one of the most divisive mechanisms still in operation here in Ireland. It promotes and prolongs Mediaeval clan infighting, which Orange Billy, Rome, the British Crown and now our Quislings in government maximise to their advantage. We're not living in Crannógs anymore, terrified that the neighbour will kidnap and float our best milk cow across to his settlement. We are all connected. Your joy is mine; your sorrow is mine: Instantly. We need to move beyond a Bronze Age mentality and begin to think together; not as a Borg collective, but with a common focus (with differing opinions which must be heard) on what is good for us as a very specific demographic.

Both AiB & BOI were at one stage regarded as a Public banks that means that the people who offered their taxes as a kind of promisary note to obtain loans so as the banks would not go bankrupt ,the citizens owned 70% of the of both banks its then that a good reliable government of the people should have taken over both banks and officially turned them into public banks
What would we gain from a public banking system 1st we bailed them out and owned them ,2nd it would eradicate a bank going bust and needing to be bailed out as public banks don't cannot
be speculating, public banks remember only invest in local areas it is mainly there for local people some what like credit unions . a parting shot when will the citizens who paid USC be compensated for the many years they paid in? insn't it about time this was brought up .
