Twitter 'Email already registered with another account' issue being looked into, confirms support

Update: Unfortunately, There aren’t any solutions/workarounds to resolve this issue at the moment. We need to wait for Twitter to come up with a fix on their end :(

it's been a whole year still so update

Effective 6/16/23 tried too first time, create account on Twitter it said my email address was already taken. That's email address-not user's name. From that, i back down i don't think i need a defective account straight up from the start.

I'm locked out on the same issue. Very frustrating. No help from twitter after multiple appeals for help.

When I first signed up with Twitter (only a few weeks ago), I couldn't use my own email address because it said that email is already in use. So I had to sign up with my phone. Just today I got suspended. But it won't let me in to view the supposedly offending tweet because my email address is registered with another account. So I have no way of even contacting Support.🤬🤬What I really want is to find out what account is using my email address, and get that resolved.

I decided to use Twitter so I can follow the comedian Elon Musk.
I have NEVER signed up for Twitter but my email has been used for an account and it is blocked.

So now I FINALLY get sent a verification code that IMMEDIATELY expires! FUCKING FUCK YOU TWITTER!

I moved on from the “already registered email” to not able to use the verification code because it expires immediately, I’m sick of this

Email verification says Session expired even within seconds. No matter how fast I enter the verification code it says session expired

I have two emails somehow connected to one account and I’m trying to get one unconnected so I can switch it to that email and it show up as that email instead of the other that I made trying to fix this problem.
