Went with a different samurai build. Invested in Technical and Reflexes, maxed both out, maxed Air Dash, got reflect bullets, got finishers, got Edgerunner, used a Sandevistan, using katanas since picking the Errata, and keeping pistols and assault rifles/shotguns as secondaries. Went with Kongou and Malorian Arms initially, just picked up Her Majesty, and am experimenting with throwing knives. Basically a Kill Bill build.

Her Majesty is great but take too long to kill skull enemies. I prefer Death and Taxes with tier 5 XC-10 Cetus and handyman.

I'm going to try a no cyberwear except for eyes build with Katana on my next play. I want to see how possible a street samurai is.

I tend to Netrun, but my backup has always been a strong shotgun. Depending on how much punishment you can take, I like to walk right out into the fray while my quickhacks tear them apart and use my shotty to clean up. In vanilla Cyberpunk there were only a couple opportunities to get a Satara, so I'm glad it's more obtainable now.

On normal mode, the build can be almost anything. It's easy. But, if you want to take down some of the tougher Boss' like Smasher or Maxtac on very hard, there are really only a few viable builds. Netrunner can struggle against Maxtac because you aren't going to one shot them with synapse burnout. You'll have to try to take time to take out NCPD officers to replenish your HP and ram in between attacking Maxtac. Meanwhile you'll be taking huge damage. It's really tough. Combining a katana build with Tetratronic Rippler cyberdeck seems to be the best option for that fight. I personally like using a smart shotgun with my netrunner. I took out Smasher on very hard pretty easily with quickhacks and the Kappa X-mod 2 pistol. For a proper netrunner build you'll need 20 in body, intelligence and tech. Whether you put the rest into cool or reflex depends on your weapon of choice and preferred playstyle. But remember, cool boosts crit damage. Reflex boosts crit chance, but you won't need that if you have a COX-2 Cybersomatic Optimizer.

For the David 2.0 build: I feel like it is a huge whiff not to allow some way to use 2 arms options at once. It almost feels like that's what they wanted you to be able to do in 2.0 when you look at the fact that the Ambidextrous perk is required for the big projectile launcher buff perk + the relic tree perk that opens up the 4 arms perks. It almost feels like Ambidextrous was supposed to allow you to have 2 arms instead of 2 hands.

The sith build has been incredibly fun for me. Int and Ref are the main ones with enough Body and Tech to get any of the perks you want. All your offense is the flaming sword or "force powers" which are basically cyberpsychosis (mind control), shock system (force lightning), overheat (fire is a force power in the books), detonate grenade (pull the pins with the force), and you get the idea for any others as well. I went in 2.0 with only maybe 60% knowledge of all the changes, and I beat most of the game on hard with 20 int, 15 ref, 12 tech, 4 body, 3 cool. I will refine it more in a more thorough run, but holy crap was it fun.

The tech revolver from slider, is really good for intel and tech builds because it cycles the quick hacks in your decks and has a chance to upload them on targets saving ram for stronger opponents.

I really liked playing as a netrunner in update 1.61 but now netrunning is useless now so I use a throwing knife build

I’m doing something very dumb by building a net-ninja ( or blade-runner 😅) using only blades and throwing knives but with a cyber deck instead of sandy/zerk. It’s very very difficult but very very fun haha
CC quick hacks and air dashing n slashing. Nehan + satori keeps you alive plus overclock heals. I’m not done forming the full build but yeah

berserker builds also are pretty cool, i made a build that focus on zerker + projectile launch system and with the right perks on body and tech u become basically a terminator, like with a group of enemies u charge the pojectile system (with relic perk obviusly) and smash them, get the bonuses from the lvl15 perk in tech that give's pratically max chance of dmg reduction, basically with that + the basic perks of body u get lot of attenuation and hp recovery speed, then of course a hammer and then i like use ba xing chong or any shotgun and kurt hansen smg, the only bad thing is that for enemies that are in high positions wich u can't reach with a jump it becomes a bit tricky sometimes to get since the projectile launcer system aim suck, hmgs are not good on long distance and even less shotguns, i still didn't try how much i can hold going psycho killing cops and max tac since i had to reload an old save cuz i want to try put on the so mi cyberware gift but for do story quests it's good, the only thing it's a total lack of stealth but u can just put the camo on ( i put the 2 iconic skins and the thing that transform 30% of dmg in dmg over time), the rest of the cyberware is for get more attenuation, movement speed, melee dmg etc

I’ve been playing a build with a sword, high mobility, a lot of utility quickhacks. It’s probably a terrible spec on paper but it’s fun as hell to play.

the most powerful build (and the easiest to play) I have the chance to try is built aroun DB4 Palica smart stottie and Tsunami smart sniper rifle:
- have 20 int, to fully utilize smart weapons perks,
- at least 15 str, to ulitilze shottie perks,
- at least 9 in reflexes, for the Dash to have some mobility
- at least 15 in cool, for boost to sniper rifle and EMP damage after reload for all weapons.
At cyber deck, utilize disable optics, contigation, disable cyberware (3 stacks for best synergy) and cripple movement.
For the 3rd weapon, get Genjiroh for some car action, or any high powered pistol for stealth, if you want so.
