My own little foray into costume wearing was sewing an 1880 s riding skirt and wearing it trail riding all summer. It was so comfortable , allowing ventilation up the culotte-style legs , I preferred it to my regular riding jeans. I , too, was a bit shy at first, but I’m in my 60s and don’t care much!

I really like the fabric for the last dress, i think its just a bit ... voluminous...in some places it might should not have been....but had the fit been right, the fabric would have made it super cute. But seriously though, you really did do great trying to interpret all the looks. ❤

I think it is great when you just go for an expression of the character and not try and look like someone else being that character. That being said your skill with makeup is amazing.

Overdyed fabrics/yarns is FUN & a great way to have fun with colors. Slow cooker or catering pans & acid dyes (plus citric acid & tutorial videos) may be your best friend for adjusting colors.
