ОтветитьThe lack of stalks is a killer. If anything, I wish they would have moved to easier physical controls for the lights (headlights/fog lights) and wipers. Instead, they kept those buried in on-screen menus and removed the stalks, making 3-point turns and exiting from roundabouts more difficult/dangerous.
ОтветитьAgreed. Went to the dealership and test drove the new model 3. This car its considerable smaller on the inside, better materials but too narrow. Feels claustrophobic. My old model 3 seats feel like a couch, i could sit on them for long trips but not the case on this new model 3. Was gonna trade it but not, not enough reasons to replace my 2020 Model 3. But the outgoing model y its cheaper and have the tax credit …….
ОтветитьKyle's right. ..... Did you do a bacteria count on the floor mats? .... Yikes, man, this review is an outlier. You missed some of the best points, and what you said was good about this car sounded more like "damning with faint praise". I would recommend people be sure and watch other reviews on the new Model 3 to get a better perspective.

ОтветитьIf the front seat is slammed to the floor in the pre-refresh your rear passengers feet will not fit under the front seat as well. No differences. if you’re hauling a lot of normal sized adults in the rear seat, then you need a bigger vehicle

ОтветитьWhat I would've done as Tesla is have more tactile buttons on the wheel that you can customize.
So say you want your left turn signal on the left of your steering wheel, and right on the... well right... you can customize that.
Now you're just stuck in one configuration and if it's annoying to use, it might be annoying for the entire time you use it.

ОтветитьIf you live in CA and 75% of the roads you drive on suck 100% of the time, then I imagine that new suspension is more note worthy 😄I would honestly prefer to keep the sporty suspension on my 23 M3 if the roads were not terrible everywhere here!!!

ОтветитьI noticed a lot of cost cutting on the refreshed model 3. Tesla designers have eliminated every possible item from the minimalist interior that they could. The cost cutting will help Tesla improve margins.

ОтветитьI’m slightly confused by your remarks about noise - EVERY other review I’ve seen has mentioned how much quieter it is.
Maybe the tyres used out of Shanghai for the European market are softer?
The lack of stalks might be a deal breaker for me.
ОтветитьOne thing I like about my model y, that I don't like about my wife's model 3 is the window sill. The y's will is lays more fast horizontally, which makes a perfect arm rest for me. Looks like the new Hyland 3 still has the downward sloping sill.
ОтветитьI just did a test drive on the new Model 3 and thought it was WAY better than my 2019 Model 3. Not sure if these guys got a bad copy or are affected by avoiding the buyer’s remorse associated with owning previous year Model 3s.

ОтветитьI like how Tesla pushes the envelope on some things, but losing the stalks is a huge negative for this car, especially the turn signal. It’s just not necessary to make something that’s used constantly this cumbersome. They have had this for years on certain super cars and it has never been something people enjoyed.
ОтветитьThese are some hilarious comments and I say this as a 2020 LR AWD (Freemont) owner: the new Highland (Shanghai) is so much better. Go and drive it before you blindly judge it. It is in another league really!

ОтветитьStrange comments IMO, especially considering its the same price as the outgoing one. First off its a small car, only kids will fit in the rear. So really its only a 2 seat adult car. Who rides around without any use of the sound system? Whether its music or talk radio you should have reviewed the new stereo system. Also without a sound meter, hard to say which is really quieter. Finally the front end is finally attractive...no more Carp Fish face!!! I feel they made the proper upgrades. The interior needed a refresh, the fit of the old dash with the fake wood was like a $25K car. Vented seats a must for those in the south and expected at this price level..so if this is a prelude to the next Y, Tesla will continue to sell every one they make.

ОтветитьSo car looks better but no room in back and Colton repeats boomy and other complaints over and over so good. The rest of group really dumped on this car. Based on comments I would not buy either model 3. Comparing cars with one using winter tires not good comparison for noise.
