The title was from London to Sydney on motorcycle, but it was on "train" in Rusia and on "flight" from Nepal to Bangkok.. it was a joke of the 21st century

Imagine how big KTM would have been if they believed that a random Scottish movie star and a unknown bike rider could ride from London to Sydney on their bikes. Instead they got rejected and went to BMW who believed in them. The rest is now history and why BMW rules the big adventure bike market. That random Scottish movie star was Ewan McGregor and Charlie Booman and they created one of the most beloved riding series starting with Long Way Round. KTM really screwed up with them. Their next effort was Long Way Down which is going from London to Sydney which is exactly what this video copies. But I must say, Darren and Kevin Rudd here are pretty entertaining in a Aussie way.

Oh how people forget too soon. Now as I type Russia, or more notably the Russian dictatorship led by Putin is the aggressor in a needless war/ invasion of its neighbor Ukraine 🇺🇦. So sad in this day and age that we humans haven’t learnt from the past.

I've been through this route to Thailand from America but on a BMW F850GSA with zero issues. Do you think the new generation of KTM 690 have fixed these issues? Man, every time I see a KTM, I think of the dozens of travelers I have passed with issues... I really want a 690 or 890 but I am so scared to trust that company. Do you think they are better today with 2023 models?

awesome video - only got 1 nitty little complaint == i used headphones when watching, and in very few places the sound goes to one ear... As i said small problem and nothing to do with content as its top level -- I now subscribed :)

Germany has invaded not Russia, but USSR. And the first hit was on Ukraine and Belorus. Please don't make no difference between USSR, which contained of 15 republics, each of them suffered in WW2 and Russia. Kremlin has appropriated the history and the victory. It's quite important from historical perspective, especially now, when RuZZia became new fasсism reincarnation.

With 2 bikes in the garage needing run in and 3 feet of snow outside, this really helps with the abstinence and getting through the Swedish winter.
