Hi there! Thank you for this vid! Can you tell me where to plug this in profx16v3 mixer?
ОтветитьThis old bear just purchased this system. The boys in the band that I am auditioning for, suggested this system. It has been 30 years since I was in a band. Thanks mate.
ОтветитьApologies for this; but what kind of lunatic prefers mono? That's the muddiest possible way to listen to anything. I would just as soon have no IEMs at all before trying to decipher a dense mono mix in headphones.
ОтветитьI try to find a way to jam with my band silently using iem....there is any iem working well for rock/metal exept the Shure se15? they sound terrible for my guitar signal...
Ответитьdont brake the bank 250euro , cheap i will get 10 to have backups , cheap is 50-100
ОтветитьI’m so lost how guys make it to where each member of the band has separate in ear mix
Ex ample
Drummer want to have more bass in his mix but that change won’t effect other players in ear mix
Is this still mono even if you use a y adapter? Like 2 LR 1/4" to a single XRL?
ОтветитьStay away from xvive. Won't last for more than 1 year, awful support and a terrible experience for the price you pay. There are cheaper options with better quality.
ОтветитьHow would you rate this vs the Galaxy Audio 1100s you used in your IEM tour rig?
ОтветитьHi thanks !
What would you recommend as a stereo equivalent system ?
I have built a rack for my band and all that's left is the IEM wireless units. Instead of using an x32, we are using a laptop running Reaper and a Behringer UMC1820 that has 1/4" line outs. Are these available in 1/4" jacks, or would we need 1/4" to XLR adapters? Also, due to the narrow space between the outputs, we would be using short extension cables, with the units velcro'd to a shelf towards the front of the rack (in other words not completely buried inside the rack, but not completely visible either). How much might that interfere with signal dropouts? Does anybody know from experience? Thanks.
ОтветитьHey great video. I play guitar and sing. Can you advise on an in ear system solution for guitar and vocals at the same time? So i don't have to rely on monitors for my vocals? My stage is generally really quiet and of course i want my guitars loud so i can have a little more dynamics in my playing and singing. Dont care if its a mono system or not P.S. I REALLY DONT WANNA SPEND A MILLION DOLLARS... LOL
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьReally wish you had been more upfront about this video being sponsored by Xvive. Not mentioning it once in the video and putting it in the Show More section of the description feels pretty sneaky to me.
ОтветитьI’ve bought two xvive wireless transmitters for guitar and they both went bad within months of the warranty expiring. Worked great until they didn’t. Won’t be buying anything xvive moving forward.
ОтветитьWould you be able to connect this to a floor monitor with a speakon to xlr adapter at venues instead of connecting it to a mixing board? That way the range isn't as much of an issue, and you still have use of the floor monitors if needed?
ОтветитьHey, is it possible to run IEM's and floor wedges at the same time? I do some solo acoustic shows but I also play acoustic guitar and sing in a band. I want to buy IEM's for myself to use them when I'm doing my solo act and also for when I'm playing with my band. The other guys don't plan on buying IEM's for themselves so I was thinking about just buying one system for myself and have the rest of the band using floor wedges. Is that possible?
ОтветитьI bought them, and returned them. They work great in the living room, but at a real gig? not so much.
ОтветитьFor a good experience you will likely spend the same or more than this unit costs for in-ear monitors. To be clear, this is a transmitter and receiver, you will need to buy the monitors separately. I use Westone Am 30’s that cost about $350 and sound amazing.
ОтветитьHaving no limiter on xvive is a problem? can it damage your ears?
ОтветитьAre these better than t.bone IEM 100? I never used in ear wireless monitors and will buy my first system but im not sure which to buy with the same budget as the U4 . Any opinion please?
ОтветитьI have 4 sets of these they are amazing I highly recommend them
ОтветитьMy band is getting this system. We were blown away by the price and reviews. Thanks for the great video!!
Ответитьthanks for this homie
Ответитьwhat camera, lens, microphone, & software did you use for this video? MY BAND IS GOING TO GET THESE IN EARS. They look awesome!
ОтветитьSorry Fluff, but if I play stereo with my guitar , with stereo delays (the Edge style) ......does it work fine all the same ? Even if I listen my stereo effects in mono? .....
Ответитьi like this alot for solo gigs of just guitar and voice, idk how itd be in a band with people wanting different monitor mixes and stuff
ОтветитьI sing to tracks off of my phone wirelessly will theses affect that at all?
ОтветитьI never understood why anyone needs to have in ear monitors?.. if you can't do your parts and harmonize with your band mates, you shouldn't be playing in a band honestly.
ОтветитьCan you make a vid for people who are looking into getting into in ear systems? Like VERY beginner. Don't know the first thing. And also people that play tube heads? Rather then Kemper or are FX?
Love your vids!
So what type of headphones do you connect to this?
ОтветитьI'm new to this stuff and I have a question: When I have mono in-ear but stereo master-out can I still do L/R action or is this not possible?
ОтветитьI'm considering getting one of these for studio use. So a vocalist can track in a different room or closet or something. Would this be a good option for that application?
ОтветитьMy band uses these on the road, and after we got all the frequencies worked out with everything in our closed circuit IEM setup, they've been great.
ОтветитьThe only kind of ears you can buy legally
Ответитьso... 5ms of IEM delay + 3-5ms of guitar wireless delay + stage amps + stage monitors. this is live performance hell, especially if you're also a singer.
Ответить2.4 GHz is unreliable af.
Bring it to a place, where there's a lot of people with cellphones, and you'll get drop-outs. Fun.
I have a Line 6 G10, that works perfectly, and a X air mixer, but bringing them to gigs is a gamble...
You guys just have everything dead center for your IEM's? not sure i agree with that technique. Why did you guys set up for stereo if you're not using it?
ОтветитьJust to clarify, 2.4ghz is open to consumer digital signal devices everywhere in North America. However you need to be aware of analog system frequencies conflicting in different areas of North America (MHz range)
ОтветитьHave you heard of Audio Fusion? if so, what are your thoughts about wifi signals for EM's?
Ответитьetc. etc.
ОтветитьWhen I get mine I will just plug it into my p-16 for worship on Sundays and I guess i can plug it into where our headphone amp would be when I’m our youth room
ОтветитьThis looks promising.
ОтветитьI can't wait to go to my next gig this month with one of these! Oh, wait...
ОтветитьGreat Video Fluff!
ОтветитьAmazing!!!
ОтветитьAt least in Europe I'm going to stick with the LD Systems MEI100 that has been around for ages and is even cheaper.
ОтветитьCan't wait for fake companies to use this video in Instagram ads pretending like this is their product
Ответить
