Wondering if the gut flora either make it easier or more difficult for people to tolerate spicy foods. If one only eats traditional spicy/less processed Korean food, gut flora will be different than if one eats mostly highly refined carbohydrate rich foods. If one alters their diet with higher consumption of these highly refined foods, one alters gut flora, and this new gut flora prefers to stick to the highly refined carbohydrate rich diet instead of the less processed one. It would be interesting to understand how much of a role gut flora plays in limiting or in broadening the variety of foods we can consume without discomfort.
ОтветитьNot Korean, but I have had to scale all the way back on spicy food. Also, I will have THE WORST heartburn if i eat any saucy food after 6 PM.
ОтветитьEnjoying sunday's afternoon with your video 😊 that meal looks delicious and seems the weather is getting better/warmer. Is there anything you are looking forward to do in spring? Here in my city Guadalajara (in Mexico) feels like we skipped spring and it feels like summer 😅
ОтветитьKyuho’s hairstyle is sick! So avant-garde!
ОтветитьLove physical 100! Such a motiviation to work out, but as if i ever need to wrestle 1v1 for a ball any time soon😂 also if you put the pothos cuttings next to the window (seeing the sky) they will grow roots heaps faster! Also another tip, dont change the water and only top up when the water is getting low. Pothos are known to release a chemical into the water that helps them grow roots faster compared to other plants, so if you get rid of the wated then your getting rid of the chemical thats helping them to root!
ОтветитьYour channel name is so clever. :)
ОтветитьThank you for the Surfshark sponsorship you guys have! I also live in Korea, and watching Netflix has became much harder, because half of the stuff I want to watch has only korean subtitles (and I prefer watching Netflix over pirate sites)... Thanks to your promo code, me and my friends pitched together so now we can enjoy watching Netflix (or just access websites that are available only for my country's VPN) for such a good price! I don't think I can go back to being without one now...
ОтветитьSarah and Kyuho, Perhaps you can put longer eating clips as i never get enough of it. I really like watching your food hunting/eating/mukbang contents but no pressure to you two. Have a great week you both !
ОтветитьSarah, those sunglasses you had on look great on you! They fit your face shape perfect IMO.
Dudeeeee, I'm so ready for that next batch of Physical 100 ep's to come out on Tuesday. Watched the 1st season as well, and being a high school athlete, it's just fun to see how creative these writers get with those ridiculous exercises they have to do. But it's also awesome cause the games aren't just all brawn, you gotta have brain as well especially in the team events with strats/tactics. Can't wait!
❤️
ОтветитьI love physical 100. I am 71 and live in Las Vegas Nevada USA. Season 1 was awesome. Watching Season 2 now. Cant wait till March 26 for episode 5. Love your videos and sweet Beemo.
ОтветитьThe place is awesome. The food price is also reasonable. I love it there.
ОтветитьI’m American Mexican and love spicy foods but have to limit myself to just two meals a week that are spicy now or the heartburn rises up. Even too much tomato sauce will do me in now.
ОтветитьHi Sarah, Kyuho and Beemo ❤️ lovely vlog as always. It would actually be better to put the propagating pothos out in the veranda, as it will get way more sunlight and grow roots faster :) I’m glad yours is thriving! I love to water my plants in the shower sometimes so they get a good drink and rinse off all the dust. Always better to water thoroughly and wait a week or two before watering, as opposed to a little bit of water everyday. Just some tips from a pandemic plant parent 🌱
ОтветитьI'm 61 and spicy food is still a big part of my diet. My mother is 93 and she has toned down her spice but she can take a spice level that many would consider very hot. The banchan resto seems to serve what I would consider a regular meal but with more and fancier banchan than in a traditional home. No wonder the elderly seem to flock to it! Great video. Thank you.
ОтветитьI’ve seen lots of typos on their vids lately
ОтветитьMy husband is korean, and I'm Mexican. We've been together for 7 years and we loved eating spicy food together. But last year, I had a bad gastritis attack, to the point I couldn't eat and lost 30 lbs. I've since somewhat recovered, but have to avoid spicy food, garlic, onion, beef, pork, and oily foods. I still make korean food but just have to tweak my recipes 😅
Ответить❤
ОтветитьIf you're growing pothos i recommend getting it a moss pole to climb on. Mine was taking over a dresser and giving it something to climb on seems to make it happy and saves me a ton of space. Propagating pothos is so easy; I end up having to do it because my silly plant grows so much and I don't want to just toss the trimmed leaves. Stick the cut ends in water and BOOM you've got roots in a week or so. I often forget to change the water but that doesn't seem to hurt them one bit. 😅
ОтветитьPlease make a video about your plants Sarah 😊
ОтветитьI love Kyuho's ongoing battle with the wind and his hair, it makes me laugh (sorry Kyuho) 😂 Didn't realise season two of Physical 100 had come out! 🏃♀️ Such a relaxing video, thank you. Oh, and I'm not Korean, but I've experienced the same thing about ageing and spicy food. My tolerance is a lot lower (or maybe my tolerance for putting up with the upset stomach after has lowered...), which sucks because I used to love spicy food!
ОтветитьOk… that Korean meal was like that if one got for a king. A of it looked so good. Kyuho’s parents are so funny. I love when he asks his mom questions about things. She is so straightforward. I hope things workout with your plant propagation Sarah. Beemo and that water move was just like a little kid. You guys aren’t kidding when you say that he is your “child”. lol. Maybe he got it from Kyuho.
ОтветитьEating collagen has been debunked, maybe something to look into.
ОтветитьLove the food. My tolerance for spicy foods used to be better when I was younger lol. Great filming and editing, love this!
ОтветитьYes Physical 100 IS addictive! Obessed lol
ОтветитьYou guys always have great content. ❤️ I’m so sorry that you, yet again, have to add a disclaimer about something that has enriched your lives in such a positive way. This will make me sound like an old lady, but I miss the days where people could like different things and it was ok to disagree.
About spicy foods: I’m mid-40’s and American (predominantly UK/Western European descent), and love spicy foods. I think my spice tolerance has gotten higher as I’ve aged (and tried more spicy things), but I’m fully aware that I have an iron stomach and I always have. For my husband (late 40’s, Korean-American), his spice tolerance has increased from exposure to spicier food (because of me, lol 😂). I don’t think this is advisable for someone with gastritis, unfortunately, but may help others who want to increase their spice tolerance. 🤷🏼♀️ Thanks for another great video, guys, and love to Beemo. 🥰
Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️
ОтветитьYes! I am loving season 2 of Physical 100! I like how they added a new option for the 1v1 round.
Ответитьyes
Ответитьyes we did
ОтветитьDoes Korea do takeaway bags/food to go. Leftovers?
ОтветитьI recommend not mentioning the glasses thing again. Everyone else has already forgotten about it and unfortunately like most bullies when they work out how to make you upset they’ll keep doing it
Ответить“I have nothing to say” - lol kyuho’s dad is so funny 😂
ОтветитьAnother relaxing video! I want to go to that restaurant, all the food looked so good! Thanks for showing what you got from IHerb. I want to try that Collagen and Gin Gins. Kyuho's hair/wind struggle is real.😁 Don't feel like you have to keep explaining yourselves about the sunglasses, either. Physical 100 S2 is great! I love the terrace you guys have in your apt! You have made it so nice and can do so much out there, Do most apts. not have these? if so, why? (I see other vids where there don't seem to be very many terraces.) Have a good week!
ОтветитьHi Sarah - You should watch a few YT vids on how to snip basil for cooking in a way that the plant will continue to grow and make more leaves!
You can also take that one basil plant and separate the roots to make a few more pots of wee basil plants!
The videos show how easy it is to do!
Good luck…I’ll be watching! 😉
Sarah!!!! I am not a plant expert, but I feel like they gonna need more light and that is not a good spot if you want them to grow. 😢
ОтветитьHi Beemo! 💛 Always so nice to see/hear Kyuho’s Mom & Dad!
ОтветитьI'm a week behind in videos, but Physical 100 is top tier entertainment right now hahaha.
ОтветитьYes, I started watching the 2nd season already. I am watching you , guys, from Canada
ОтветитьThank you for all the hard work you do with your videos! I really want to buy more plants while watching this vlog! 🌿🪴
ОтветитьLoved the restaurants you showed this time! We will be going to SK this summer and look forward to trying new places. FYI: we have family that owns a restaurant in Seoul "Einglass"... please try it out sometime and tell Minji & Taesoon (owners) you learned about it here! They would be thrilled to have you check out their warm and welcoming spot - one of the few German breweries in South Korea!! Taesoon traditionally brews right there!
Ответитьtrim , prune, harvest yr basil right now. u will thank me later. they will grow even more. pesto pasta tonight!
ОтветитьAroid mix is your best friend especially for philodendrons. You can never really overwater it when its in a chunky mix. I don't know if you have access to the GT range in Korea (GT Foilage Focus/ Root Zone. The Clonex and CCS one is soooo good for propagating) but I guess if you look at the ingredients you can find the equivalent. I like clear pots cos you can see how well your roots are doing but you can get algae but its fine. Obviously dark is better but that's my preference I like to see how its doing. Sydney Plant guy on utube can teach you lots. Moss poles are awesome when you are limited in space.
ОтветитьTalking back at minute 13. Tsk tsk. LOL
ОтветитьHi guys 👋🏽 I noticed your cute little dryer in another video, forgot about it, then saw it again here. I don't know if you've mentioned it in any of your videos but I was wondering what brand it is, how do you like it, and would you recommend it. Thnx
Ответитьmy tolerance for chilli and spicy stuff shot up so much after I learnt how to cook korean dishes during COVID (had a ton of home cooked food as there were long periods of restricted movements and lockdowns) . am a middle age woman so spicy tolerance doesnt play a part here as I grow older lol. I could take any spicy food when I was a teenager and young adult !
