hyperventilation helps me think and concentrate and do well in exam but also makes my hands yellow and my whole body color changes from white to brown yellow

my father has been a real asshole who doesn’t care about me and doesnt do ANYTHING to comfort me while I’m crying, hyperventilating, or sobbing and guess what? The reasons I’m doing those things are because of him.
This helped so much to stop hyperventilating, thank you!

I focus on my breathing too much and can't stop manual breathing which leads me into hyperventilating panic attacks until i nearly pass out

What if you’re 24/7 nose breathing but unconsciously really deep. So in fact hyperventilating 24/7 trough your nose?
Most instructions I run into are more focused on “attacks”

Very interesting. This happened to me today at the gym, I started wheezing and gasping for air my trainer didn’t know what to do. I cupped my hands and brought my shirt over my mouth and nose and breathed and felt instantly better. I couldn’t understand what happened but I’m glad this video pretty much assured me I instinctively did the right thing

I have loved studying this modality and it has already benefitted my practice with psychotherapy patients even as I reach the cusp of certification. Looking forward to part 2!

When I am panicking, I notice that I am holding my breath, not breathing faster. Are their exercises to help prevent that reaction?

Can you hold the breath out without pinching your nose? It makes me panic more. Thanks
