Well... it's a really bad habit to hold a pcb that way because of static electricity
ОтветитьLol good marketing
ОтветитьI built more than 10 MK3s and MK4s and having had that as a STEM project with my dad 25 years ago would have been awesome. Assembling Prusa's is not more complicated than any complex Lego Technic toy. It really is that easy thanks to their comprehensive online documentation.
ОтветитьI used an MK3 this year for my kids' homeschool learning team, and it was by far the best learning experience for many subjects. At 6 and 9 years old, they are now 3D modeling, slicing, and printing objects of all kinds by themselves and sharing them with their friends. This was by far the best tool to bring curiosity and joy, the basic elements of learning. Plus, I love it too :) Thanks, Prusa!
ОтветитьStill the best way to start in 3D printing!
ОтветитьThat Dinosauria model sounds an awful lot like 'Trix' from Naturalis in Leiden, The Netherlands. It's a free model of a T-Rex you can print at home as well. They also provide their own model of a Triceratops btw.
ОтветитьHow long does it take to build a MK4 kit?
ОтветитьThe documentation on assembly you have is world class.
ОтветитьMy daughter and I built a Prusa Mk3 several years ago. After that she got a job at the school district’s “innovation center” in their 3D printing lab. This fall she starts college in an excellent engineering program. The Prusa was a wonderful project and it acted as a springboard for further STEM education—especially if you homeschool, as we did.
ОтветитьI've built a Mk3S+ and a Mk4 from your kits. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and the most fun I've had since Heathkit died.
Superb quality bits and documentation.
Having the assembly manuals available in PDF format made zooming in to see details was a definite plus.
Oh yeah - and I'm 78 (the Heathkit reference should have been a clue 😁)
Moren than 1000 Euro for a STEM kit. I teach 3d printing in school. Prusa is used here for daily printing but for build up its way to expensive.
ОтветитьBuilt my mk3s a few years ago with my kids, they loved it, would definitely buy one in kit form again, it was fun :)
ОтветитьSoika paranni 👍👍
Ответитьsuper 🙂
ОтветитьDid that!
ОтветитьI made a stand for exactly this model.
Search for triceratops-stand on printables.
Your instructions are by far simply the awesomest🤣!
But it would be an extremely expensive gift…
😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьSafety first ! watch your hair in the pulley little girl !
ОтветитьOr build a voron trident from an LDO kit and get something that is around 2x as fast and has way more capabilities.
ОтветитьI've used a cheap Chinese (crap) printer for a year and figured out that 3D printing is awesome! Even though the quality was not good I designed and built things I didn't never dreamed of being able to.
Stepped up to a Mk4 kit and absolutely love everything about it! The quality, the community and the attitude around it. I don't regret starting the cheap way but today, I would go right to the Prusa Kit.
It is the printer and print quality but especially everything around it that makes it so awesome.
Amazing you still believe this is a selling point, in 2024...
ОтветитьImagine building a Voron with your kid, I'm sure that would go great KEKW
ОтветитьOur first "cinematic" ad! 🎥 As most things Prusa, we decided to produce it in-house and cover a real story of our creative David and his daughter, building the MK4 kit together for the first time.
