nice vid, i love your voice. maybe its just me and Iam getting this totally wrong but the entire point of tudor brand was that it was cheaper then rolex and it looked very much the same. only the movement was different. now we have this new tudor and its trying to be someone else then rolex not only from inside but outside too. i know thing changed but why cannot we just have like in the past. put mercedes hand on the black bay 54.

Uncle Seiko has come out with a bracelet for $129. I would say it will fix the rivet problem. People can just buy the rubber strap version.

the watch actually fits your wrist. its too small for most men, and far too small for a diving style watch which looks best bigger. I dont buy the vintage thing. Its not a vintage watch. I have a 1973 seamaster which is a vintage watch and carrys 36 mm much better. The gilt on the 58 bezel is nicer as well. The watch is not good value, for 1/3 of the price you can get a genuine vintage Omega or other make. For example, The Doxa 300 is far cooler and also smaller and comfortable, also chronometer certified, and £1000 cheaper. Arguably much cooler and more prestigious. I would prefer a 39mm black bay or the 41mm burgundy any day!

Great watch on my 16.5cm wrist, looks and feels just great! :-) BUT: This morning to my surprise and discomfort I realized that the raised luminous indice (pip you call it...?) on the bezel is not exactly centered within the triangle. :-/ Not as much as in the example of Adrian Barker, but visible anyway... 😒Does anyone have experience with this issue and how dealers and Tudor deal with this? Thanks for any answers!

Just noticed my Pip is slightly misaligned.. any chance I can get back to Tudor to complain? My 3 year warranty is still one! As you say every time I look at the time now it makes me aware of it..

Reality: bad is “I saw a defective watch in one video” “they don’t offer other colours”
And just a few words about wearability which at least somehow relates to the “review based on actual experience”

I’m considering this along with the tag aquaracer. Can’t really decide on which one I want but leaning towards Tudor. Just hope their quality control keeps it together.

It all comes down to wrist size. I think the BB54 looks just about perfect on Britt. But for me, though, even 39mm is already a bit on the small side for a sports watch. I tried on the 39mm Pelagos a while ago, and it just felt slightly too small. The dude in the AD was a smart Alec, and pointed out that it was only 1 mm smaller than my Patek. But I apply altogether different aesthetic standards to classic/dress watches. A sports watch should have a certain clunkiness and heftiness to it, IMO. In fact, I just bought the Pelagos Marine Nationale, which is 42mm, and I find it a great fit. It has some presence without being gigantic. Looking straight down, there's still about 1cm between the end of the lugs and the edges of my wrist. 👋

I have a Submariner (16610) from the mid 90s that I love, and will never part with. I think this BB54 would be an awesome alternative to the Sub when I'm traveling or just in a situation where I don't feel comfortable wearing it.

I love what Tudor has done for the watch-world by creating the 54 & 58. As the Submariner creeps to 41mm case sizes, thank god for a modern watch with a vintage look that you can actually get WET & knock around. 😅 🙏🏾

Weird question but - I have a BB 54, I’m left handed and wear it on my right wrist (non dominant). The crown faces up my arm, but is it possible for the watch to be taken apart and the face to be put back but rotated 180degrees. Is this at all possible?

This idea just came to my mind... Black bay 54 with the Tudor Ranger rubber leather strap... I think it would look fenomenal.

The hour hand bothers me way more than the rivets on the bracelet, to the point it's a deal breaker :(

Those Faux Rivets are the worst really. When I tried the 54 I immediately gravited towards the rubber largely because of those. This watch is not a 1:1. small modernizations are allowed. Please Tudor just get rid of those ugly pimples.

I'd love to see this in a GMT, with a less boring case, different movement and hands, non-faux rivet bracelet, and last but not least, some other name (except Rolex) on the dial. Other than those small issues I think this is an amazing watch.

Great case and lug to lug size but they should make the gold features white instead and change that terrible hour hand!

I’m sure it’s a great watch but I just find black bays a bit boring to my taste. I feel like Tudor has done everything really well, but nothing different or interesting. It’s like a 4 door Lexus, probably the best car you can buy in terms of being a car that is comfortable, reliable drives decent but boy there is nothing to be excited about.

Sell the 58. You don't need it anymore. I got 2k for mine, which was slightly disappointing but there are a BILLION BB58 Blues out there...

I also noticed the bezel lume pip being off on some videos, and I saw that in the piece that was offered to me.. I think they should tighten up the QC for the 54..

Somehow they manage to make all their models look the same. I think it’s that ridiculous hour hand, but hey what do I know.

This watch costs less than a service on the majority of my collection (AP, Rolex, Lange and FPJ)…yet I wear this one almost everyday since I got it 2m ago. It’s incredibly good value. Also bought the rubber strap, but yet to switch. Anyway, great work Tudor

Hello i just received my bb54 steel bracelet. Does the t fit claps of steel bracelet is reusable to fit the rubber strap (just buying the rubber strap) ou or making « sur mesure » a leather strap? Thank you.
