I kind of feel like in all these videos with lighting tips, the scene looks exactly identical. Yes, the lighting does look better, but the scene lacks character.

Reverse key lighting (upstage lighting) is another really cool option. I use it for 3D renders for moody effect but it’s all the same photography/videography principles.
