The RAW footage available for download looks like it has already been transformed to Rec709 as opposed to a Log encoding

people who complain about R5 overheat, should look at this camera... R5 is for hybrid camera for photography (main purpose) and some video. if you want to buy video only camera, you should buy this c300 mark iii... not R5....

are you shooting the b roll shots in 24fps? cuz it still looks amateur quality...

I don't like those camera if your background if out of focus only focus objects , I was making videos with M1 M3 M5 M7 M10 M2500 M3500 HV SUPER 4500 FOR me was best camera inside M7 M10 AND M3500 for out side M10 M2500 AND 4500 I know you never heard about them

I own BMPCC6K but I’m curious to see how high end cinema cameras like this create images.

It's a very nice camera and i'm thinking for getting it, BUT... in terms of color science and DR it's close to canons dslrs rather to Arri or even Red.

Crazy how Canon is always one major step ahead of the competition. Sony finally nailed autofocus with the FX9 and Canon now drops a dynamic range bomb on everyone. They're always great at having one kill-for feature in their cameras. DGO is it now I guess. Exciting.

Just get Sony FS7 MK ll. Better cheaper more features.

In C300mk3 it seems they have introduced something similar to the dual gain architecture of Arri Alexa Alev sensor.
I'm curious to see how it works because I know there are some important patents in Arri cameras tecnologies that can't be violated.

It can't be because it is a photo lens, because it is a zoom lens or it is only in conjunction with the canon C300 mark 3 camera gives, and in other bundles such as the canon eos r and this lens, there will not be such a bokeh, can you explain?

Thanks! I downloaded your RAW files and played around... The Canon looks good... however a question: I use a GH5 S married to an Atomos Ninja to get 4K 60p converted to ProRes 422 10 bit. The Canon is 5X more expensive than the GH5 S. I compared some of my footage to your files and I wonder if the Canon is such a big leap compared to the Panasonic?? Regards!

How did you grade the footage, was it just BT709?

Yet, no RF mount. Guess their photography department doesn't talk much with their cinema department.
