Why do you still play Battlefield 2042?

I've only played a few weeks.
Runs fast and smooth/glitch free. 128 players with vehicles. Great effects.
The weather and tornado is really cool effect.
Weird how they fix all the bugs and glitches out to leave an immovable jitney/forklift that stops every vehicle?
That could be fixed anytime......
It would be great to have a one time Ai operated aerial laser strike or whatever....maybe it be too ridiculous...frame rates...too much action??

This game is still a year from release. The audio hasn’t been addressed since day one, no recoil, maps are too linear and restricted for 128 players, and crossplay disabled prevents you from getting into a single match

Cartoony gameplay on BF2042, look at the character running coverage on the battlefield, the game is for little boys lol.

2042 is so bad compared to BF3/BF4 its not even close. The only reason this "resurgance" has happen is because the game went on sale

I still play it because it's probs one of the best/ crappest game ever? It's kinda hard to explain it. I like how the game style is but i kinda like the crappy style that kinda makes it good and some crappy games are really good and this feels like one of those free to play games like World War 3 but this is name brand game.

This "battlefield" still is crazy wanted to see the new season that was "good" but it's still the same horrible game.

Battlefield is dead. They haven’t released a solid good game in years. Bf5 was terrible below average game 4.2/10 BF1 was decent. It was the last good BF but it had a lot of flaws. But it was a solid 7.5/10. BF2042 is just average. 5.8/10. Maps are way too big and poorly designed. Theres zero involvement in the game. You can just sit in one spot camp and do decent. TTK is way too long. Shouldn’t take 8-10 shots to kill someone. Reloads are also way too slow. No one takes their time to reload.

Want to know was one thing that's really wrong with this game is you don't even get hitmarkers when you're shooting a person and then on top of that you go ahead and you shoot a person with an automatic rifle you can barely get any hitmarkers but if you use a pistol you'll get a hitmarker every single time I can kill more people with a pistol then I can an automatic rifle what sense does that make ding dong hello wake up is Folgers in your cup 🍵 that's don't make any sense

Yeah when you can get in the tanks and choppers jets which is not very often. I used to love battlefield but there's so many more better games out there. Unlock stuff then they nef it once you get used to it. My kd is 4.5 so I can play but like I said way better games out there that they don't mess around with weapons constantly.

This is the only game like this that is so much fun. Anyone who says [whatever other game] is better hasn’t played 2042 since it’s fixes and admits it. They won’t give 2042 a chance after the failed launch and it’s hard to blame them. Bitter resistance has set in on people’s minds on this game to the point of irrationality.

IMO 42s biggest drawback right now is the price. Its STILL priced at the full 70 dollars. If EA actually wanted to try, which we know they dont, they would cut the price in half. at 35$ Id debate grabbing it, but not at 40 and no damn way for 70.

Still play BF4, yeah it's been a while. Keeping the same gameplay with new maps, vehicules, weapons and countries armies wouldn't hurt.

If only the source code was available to Mod the game.....those BF1942 days would come back 🤩!!

gameplays ok now, but there is not enough content. look at the BF2042 content creators, they are screwed. There is simply nothing to new. they sell old stuff as new again and again. embarrassing. missing BF1 warstories.

Why do I still play? Well because I enjoy being shot through walls, sniper spammed, facing that nightbird player who tracks me down across the map over and over or The robotic invincible PC player whose special power is no hit points to self. The aggravating flank spam player who wouldn't even get a kill unless he gets behind you and my personal favorite the predator player who walks through walls or has active camo that renders him invincible.

i started playing again bc 1 half my system was filled by mw2 and 2 mw2 made me hate playing games

Last time I checked bf2042 was dead on console but I have it so I will check again later.

I've never taken battlefield that seriously. Meaning in terms of stats mostly. I hope on to have a good time and experience some fun moments in game.

Battlefield 3 was the best for me so much fun...

I still play because it's fun as hell. What other justification do you need?

Really want to like this game but It's not as immersive as bf1. WIsh there was a game as good as bf1 but set with modern techs.
