My father had polio and spent the best part of his child hood in the hospital , they were trying to rebuild his feet , he used to get up early in the morning and blow snow from a 600 foot lane , so he could go to work driving a truck , he used to tell me , I just get the car warmed up , then I have to get in a cold truck , definitely my hero , and no one ever thanked him for it , actually he was treated like a cripple even by his family

I often wonder about the many truckers I knew back then. I pulled for several Companies and each one always had different freight. For years I was the Mr. Gooney Bird ntil I was busted by the F. C. C. in 73. I made all of the Magazines. Then as of the day of the Court, I was ordered t never go on line again under the Gooney Bird and a $10,000.00 Part - 95 Citizens Band skip talker. LOL so I told everyone Gooney Bird had a bad landing and Cousin Clem was taking over his spot.

This song was the I always loved hearing back in the early 1970's. I was driving in a Snow Storm West of Flagstaff, Arizona.
