How To Export Adobe Illustrator Layers to Photoshop (Easily)

Saved my life! I needed to get some work done quickly and was working in illustrator to get a blockout of some UI, but every time I just saved as a PSD, it merged some layers, some were alright... had no idea, still haven't wrapped my head around it but the "Release to Layers (Sequence)" part pretty much saved me SO much time. Quick and to the point, I found no other solutions to this!

Man, you saved my life! For about 4 hours of my life, I was looking for a solution on the open spaces of my Internet, and then you got caught and everything was finally cleared up. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Once you import the layers to Photoshop. Can you edit the layers in illustrator and update them in photoshop? like adding new layers?
