If you play Legen and want mutagen, why not go Vivisectionist? Full sneak attack progression + a lot of usefull spells and with Transformation you get Full attack progression if you want.

Does angel.not work with kinetiscist?

Overwhelming Soul makes a good Legend because the burn scaling off of total level doesn’t affect them and with the high BAB as a melee kineticist they can’t afford to spend the move action gathering power. Paladin (with a Scaled Fist dip to boost AC) would add Smite Evil while Spawn Slayer would add Gain Leverage and be Trickster alignment compatible. Since power attack only works with physical blasts Inquisitor for the penetration judgment wouldn’t help a trip focused build.

Am I misunderstanding something, or did they patch it so that the Area of Effect Gaze no longer works on Deadly Earth? I'm using the combo right now and its hitting my allies normally.

Thanks for the build - just for interest, why do you favour Mutation Warrior over Demonslayer for the Legend build here? I believe the increase to AB you get from Favoured Enemy is quite a bit larger than what you'd get from a Grand Mutagen + Greater Weapon Focus. You also get Sense Vitals for some sneak dice. I think this is one of the few cases where Mutation Warrior may not be optimal - since the Weapon Training bonus doesn't help. I could be wrong though :) Just my thoughts

Vivisectionist beats mutation warrior for Kineticist Legend, hands down.

While earth is the most obvious choice I kinda want to try a fire one since the attack rolls are based on touch and the infusion that negates SR might be an interesting interaction with blade and negative energy mastery

I just want to know, if you have the time, if u recommend your sorcerer's build or the Lich King one. I also want to know which companions should I use. Kitsune+legend+shifter+elemental engine. Then use shifter claws, iterative attacks-byte, kinetic blade=15 attacks without buffs, demon horns or anything else

You've been making these weird & wonderful builds for more than a year now, and there's still always something new to discover. One thing they all have in common is how OP you get by the end even though you take different paths. That got me thinking - what if you were to make a build that intentionally cripples your character in every possible way? You spend so much time coming up with the best builds, so since April 1st is just around the corner, why not try to come up with the worst build possible? xD

I can't get my demon kineticist to trigger blade attacks for some reason, he always does just two attacks with deadly earth. I have aspect of Kalavakus active, kinetic blade active (mud), bowling infusion active and I enable demonic rage during battles. I have taken all trip feats, including the mythic one. Everything in the AOE of the deadly earth gets tripped, but gets hit with only 2x attacks, what am I doing wrong?

Taking in mind that with this marvellous guide it's the 15th time I almost get to the 3rd chapter before I reroll, you're a fantastic person, for your guides make every possible idea of RP look easy to do!

Hey! I am watching video of yours quite some time. I must admit, i do not read every patch note. Can you tell why you stoped picking feats like seize the moment and shake it off in your builds? Were they nerfed in some way?

If you pounce with both pushing and bowling infusions on your kinetic blade, do you get 3 triggers of death rush per attack?

Traverling merchant has ring that allows crit range 13-20 with tricsters build. Ring says it doubles the range, but it wount double mythic feats effect.

Buddy you're killing it. Question for you: would you ever consider doing content that is specifically "how to do this in unfair?" I'm struggling in my attempts to play unfair. I find myself reloading many many times and it can't seem to get consistency through act 1.

One question on the overall build for Kineticist, is level 20 Kineticist really that useful or would taking a level 1 dip into Viv to get the mutagen either add in increase Dex for more hit or Con for even more burn potential?

Kineticist is soo busted that i was doing a playthrough with one, but it was soo strong that i gave up, wasnt fun just auto winning every combat

It should be noted that the Lich's weapon of death does work on your kinetic blade for a really nice passive bonus to it.
And although I haven't tested it yet, I'd imagine that Touch of decay might also work on energy blades, since it applies to melee touch attacks according to its description.
So for a kinetic energy blade build, you could consider going weapon of death, touch of decay, negative energy mastery.

Hey, great guide. But in your Demon kinetics guide, you suggest going with Mobility, Stealth, and Trickery. But in the Trickster guide here, you suggest athletics instead of mobility? I'm just trying to clarify so I can build a proper Trickster Kineticist.

i don't get the kinetic blade part of the build :/
Does weapon buffs are actually retained with kinetic Blade ? Cause it is recreated each time u use infusion, right?
also if u use gather power low as a move action then you attack as a standard action so only one attack ?

I know its optimal because tricksters don't have merged spellbooks or zippy magic or demons aspects but do you think a blaster trickster could work or is it doomed to fail . Because I'm thinking maybe something like 1 vivisectionist / 4 sorcerer / 10 arcane trickster / 5 lore master (for maybe precise shot) and 2 other secrets . I've been thinking about this build for a while and I don't know if it would even be worth it because first of all bolster exists , 2nd vivi dip is necessary but gonna mess up spell progression , 3rd this build is very feat hungry and I don't know it will have enough as it would want every perception 2 feat as well as the regular blaster stuff , 4th other mythic builds might just be better .

Dark Elementalist also can be used as Lich, as it changes the attribute used to Int. Plus, it fits the theme pretty well. It can also accept burn, but in a more limited way than Psychokineticist or regular Kineticist

I wonder can a warpriests sacred weapon scale a kinetic blades base damage in a legend build 🤔

Thanks for the vids, I just finished the game using your kineticist guide. My only complain would be that after deadly earth, your team does a lot of standing around while you just absolutely nuke everything.

I think u forgot about the dark elementist for the lich kineticist 😅 it scales with intelligence and fits the lich the best in my opinion. Not only play wise but also lore wise since they "torture" the souls of the dead to get rid of their burn.

Thanks for the Guide. I noticed that on the Lich Guide, you took Master Shapeshifter. Since I had never seen anyone pick Master Shapeshifter, I assume that it does not have synergy with Lich. Did you go Kitsune for this particular build, by chance?

It's always nice to get more builds that aren't dependent on Trickster or Lich. I really don't like their 'story'/rp and those things are just very, VERY important to me in these games.
My favorite is still your Reformed Fiend. That role play was very satisfying.

With the Aeon do you run into trouble when combat ends? Because your deadly earth might still be active when your gaze ends.
