The Warmy had totally different curves from the other three. Also Son EQ is not really supposed to be a Pultec emu, only the lower band is Pultec inspired. When you made the 5db boost on the Ignite Amp's one it actually boosted almost 10db. Does the hardware behave like that?

Hi! I saw a comparison on another channel where the man compared the Warmy to a real Pultec (which it was modeled from) and the eq curves did NOT align! Thus the Pultec trick won't work on that (as designed). I had the Warmy too, so I deleted it! 😀😱 But I don't know how close the others are to a real Pultec 🤔 I currently use Sonimus... I also have Rare 6.1, I think Rare SE is discontinued.

Hey, great video and effort you put into it! Thanks. I think your settings are way overdone and sound horrible on the 2-bus. But it´s great for demonstration. I was astonished, that the free Kiive Audio one sounds still good with such extreme settings! The only one which didn´t sound completely fake and made the mix (at least) seem to be "better" with it on. With all others -> they made it sound over-EQ-ed in a "bad" way and dead. Cheers

The att knob right is for the frequencies selected with the right selector. The cut next to it so for the other, middle high frequency selector, that one only has the boost, the bandit also only arctic that frequency. Only the low end has both the boost and cut.

The Ignite Amps eq , you can actually change the tubes.

I had a problem wit AO's RAREse. It brought a white noise in left channel. But with usual RARE (with no mid-side processing) everything was ok😁 I like sound of SonEQ and Warmy more because of that cool saturation they give.
