Iv gotta jump back on this again, I must have watched it at least 50 times, absolutely mind-blowing how good this young lad is, how high is his ceiling that's the scary thing,in 10 years he could be the main man, Hendrix, SRV,Vai,satriani, page,Clapton,bonammassa, would all be proud I'm sure of it,what a talent!!!

That is absolutely gorgeous. I would normally choose top-knotch composition - eg Steve Howe - over blistering speed. But Max is combining them effortlessly and it's got a good-humoured cheekiness about it (that Steve used to have when he was younger....).

Daylight robbery that Max didn't win with this solo. Easily one of the greatest solos ever recorded.

A lot of people seem to mistake technique for “lack of feeling” … this solo is insanely melodic, insanely memorable. I could remember the whole thing months from now easily. There is SO much feeling in this solo. You can 100% tell when there’s a real lack of feeling .. there’s nothing interesting about simply shredding. The way every note is played, the timing and delays, the pauses, the way he expresses himself while playing. Anyone who thinks there’s no feeling is deaf and blind

He's awesome to us and people who know guitar. But if you put a minute time machine and bring him back about a good 35 years.
He'd be a God. Although I don't think he has a ceiling right now.
We're just in a world where the guitar solis has gone away. I only wish we were still listening to some good hair bands. And some good old-fashioned metal. Where we could buy every single album that this guy has anything to do with.
