When figuring out the properties of an object, classically, you run it through many different test to see if it “acts” the same in every scenario, thus shedding light on its physical properties and behavior in the universe.
Can you tell me about ANY other kind of experiment where particles “act” the same way as they do with the double slit experiment…???
Wouldn’t it be a blunder if we mistakenly defined the properties of the building blocks of our universe incorrectly just because we came across a ☝️one scenario where particles behave this way…??
Maybe if there were more than just this one small little experiment were we could see/detect particles doing this, no matter the setup…. We would have grounds for defining properties but as far as it appears to me…..
To me its kind of like saying:
“When i put my food in a micro wave… it raises in temperature …therefore the physical nature of food is high temperature”
….🤨
I tried other websites and speakers and people to figure this out. Only one I could understand it from was Tyson...
ОтветитьI think it has something to do with photoreception from brain. It is a biological phenomenon.
ОтветитьIs our eye creating an illusion or are we failing to understand the reality
ОтветитьThanks for cutting it short… JO
ОтветитьYears ago i notice this as a single light source ( a distant security light ) shown through the slats in my fence onto a concrete wall and it puzzled me that this yellow light divided itself into yellow bands and white bands ???? ....... several years from then i saw the Double Slit Experiment and it help to shed some light on my bewilderment .
ОтветитьIt's happening because the detector changes the energy of the incident photon resulting in no interference pattern
ОтветитьThe reason it knows because it’s alive it’s conscious it doesn’t want to be observed it want to be left alone.
ОтветитьWhat a bunch of bullshit. Not the experiment, the way it is presented as something metaphysical.
ОтветитьObservation itself by any entity/object utilizes & propagates waves of energy out, thus any observation will always be altered by whatever entity/object is observing.
Y’all nerds eating too much adderal!
The photons are a figment of our beliefs and our subconscious knows the laws of physics and reality so it creates the random that we need. but nothing is truly random, we just have the power to move mountains with words.
ОтветитьThis means there's a lot more going on around us, when we're not around. When we're involved, time goes slower, things move slower to but when not involved and you're just going with the flow, time suddenly goes faster, and a lot of things suddenly start happening... Something about our involvement slows other things down. Definitely something there with what reality actually is.
ОтветитьNow faith is the substance of things hoped for , the evidence of things not seen.
ОтветитьDoes a tree make a sound when it falls if no one is around?
ОтветитьIf the experiment can’t be observed…what is observing that it’s behaving differently. Iv still not seen any video explain what is recording the unobserved outcomes and how they even know it’s behaving differently.
ОтветитьThe next experiment, to my mind, would be testing whether the effect persists if observed by non-humans. Does it occur when any organism is observing the event, or only when humans do? And what is it about humans/organisms observing that affects photons in this way? What else are we doing to existence around us, simply by observing it?
ОтветитьDidn’t Nazi discover this
ОтветитьPerhaps, an "Observation device" used plays a role on how the outcome would be.
ОтветитьThe question is how are you observing it?
ОтветитьNothing to do with the photons , it how we humans observe time and motion
Ответитьhope i live to see the day this gets explained
ОтветитьThank you for posting a video about this experiment that actually makes sense
ОтветитьOther scientist said: it's not if we watch it, it's when the photons get smaller. This make more sense.
ОтветитьWhere is this from?
ОтветитьI can safely say there is more to it than meets the eye?!?!?!?!?!!?!?
ОтветитьWe really should stop giving religious zealots ideas by calling detection an observation.
ОтветитьHow do they know that the results depend on whether the experiment's being observed without observing the experiment?
ОтветитьNick from the yard brought me here😊
ОтветитьThe term observation is misleading here. It makes people believe that consciousness has something to do with it. It doesn't. The correct term should be detection. In order to detect the particle, you have to throw light at it. This affects the particle's energy causing it to produce a different pattern.
ОтветитьThis tells me that god is us god is the universe created all
ОтветитьI have always seen people explaining the experiment and not the real experimental setup and complete observation in a video. Is it so hard to record the real experiment. Or should we conclude that the observer effect on double slit experiment is a hoax?
ОтветитьIs this real? And with real references.
I know it's 3 years ago.
But somehow to me it looks as if Neil was AI generated there 😅.
Well you see its because after the Earth was created 4 bi[HUNDRED AND HUNDREDS OF] years ago the light particles were affected by [GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD]
ОтветитьTime and space are functions of ones conceptual scheme. Consciousness is the fundamental reality
ОтветитьI really hate this narrative. No, its not observation, its interaction of detectors in order to tell where each photon is going. Its not actually looking at it. That doesnt work that way. Alive or dead, if there is something interfering with the photons, you will have the effect. Now why this occurs is obviously still a mystery and very cool. But its no observation, its measurement, two different things.
ОтветитьMovie name
ОтветитьI think its not the waves that confuse but its the eyes that do
ОтветитьWhere's full video link?
Ответитьwhich show and which episode?
ОтветитьSo nothing in the universe moves or exists unless it’s observed, well that’s creepy
ОтветитьIn a mirror, you can kiss yourself only on the lips…
ОтветитьThis, personally, is the strongest piece of evidence that we live in a simulation.
ОтветитьWhich episode of cosmos is this
ОтветитьNarcissistic supply
ОтветитьI don't understand. If you were not watching, how do you know or see different pattern on the wall? Or you should not watch photons behaviour but just reflection of it?
ОтветитьThis gives me morpheus vibes from the matrix
ОтветитьWhat episode of "Cosmos Possible Worlds" is this clip from?
Ответить
