Hey Wizards, hope you're all doing well and enjoyed the vid 🧙‍♂This was certainly a long one for only 10 rankings and honorables and I learned a good number of new things throughout this vid that I didn't know before. Hopefully I could teach you something new too :)

Q: Doesn’t the Unofficial Patch mod allow the Daedric Artifacts to benefit from Smithing perks?
🧙‍♂️: It does indeed, I forgot to mention that. With the Unofficial Patch mod, all Daedric Artifacts (weapons and armor) will benefit from a smithing perk.

Q: What about the Ring of Khajiit?
🧙‍♂️: Truth be told, I must have completely missed it and skimmed over the Fishing Creation entirely! Apologies for that. But with that being said, the effect on the ring is rather cool; “You move 10% faster. Allows you to cast the spell "Hide”. I wouldn’t rank it in the top 10 but would definitely mention it in the honourable mentions.

Q: Why bother with Daedric Artifacts when you can make your own with max smithing and max enchanting?
🧙‍♂: There are certainly benefits of crafting your own gear and I won’t argue against that, instead, I’ll offer some reasons as to why you might choose Daedric Artifacts (unique weapons and armor):
1. Daedric Artifacts all have a unique look to them, most looking pretty badass imo.
2. Most Daedric Artifacts can be retrieved at the beginning or very close to the beginning of the game offering a great early advantage.
3. Most Daedric Artifacts have unobtainable enchantments on them and they’re pretty darn good (Dawnbreaker, Mehrunes Razor and Wabbajack are great examples).
4. Some Daedric Artifacts have innate enchantments and never need to be recharged, but if anything does need to be recharged, Azura’s got your back with her star or The Black Star.
5. While nearly all Daedric Artifacts do not benefit from Smithing perks in vanilla Skyrim, the Unofficial Patch changes this allowing all Daedric Artifacts to benefit from smithing perks.
6. One could use the Restoration loop (before installing the Unofficial Patch) to improve any unique weapon or armor until satisfied. You don’t have to go overboard with the loop either, so long as you use it sensibly and can produce upgrades of realistic quality for your level.

Skeleton Key is the best, by far.

For survival mode if you don't mind playing an evil character you can pick up the ring of namira. It will let you eat the dead to fill your hunger pretty much every time you go out to explore. Great to save money and weight. Then just take off the ring afterwards for a better one. Not the best but useful if your character is evil on survival mode.

Worth mentioning that recharging an enchanted item/staff increases enchanting skill. I think this is dependent on size of the soul. So killing a dungeon of humans and recharging whatever elemental weapon youve just used to kill them with black souls is pretty good free enchanting exp.

is it weird to have an elvin mace that does 31 damage

Ebony Blade is one of the better weapons in the game especially when 1) fully charged and 2) if you run the right patch it can be upgraded

Me personal favorite ones were Volendrung, Spell breaker, Dagon's butter knife and Mace of Molag Bal. Sanguine Rose and Wabbajack for shits and giggles.😂❤

New drinking game: take a drink every time he says “doesn’t benefit from smithing perks”.

Molag's mace + Black Star is so fun. Kill Bandit → recharge → kill bandit → recharge → kill ... Sending one soul after another into the soul cairn.

Volendrung will always be my Go to whenever I do a two-handed build

Fun fact: If your quick enough, you can pick up the Dawnbreaker that the necromancer drops, then pick up the one that appears in the pedestal allowing you to have two of them.

I know this video is kind old..but you said to let you know if we wanted this video with other ratings...how about one WITHOUT creation club. Not everyone has money to buy mods, and no everyone even has the ability to play with mods. I play on switch primarily at this point so mods/creation club isn't even an option. That being said..this list is all but unless to me because of that.

Volendruung is my most op weapon, i upgraded is so now its got 65 fricking damage (i have 65 smithing so its superior)

Mehrunes razor and bloodthirst with dual wielding perks is a good time.

I think the top 3 are overrated. Azuras/black star only acts as one soul gem. Ive never run out of soul gems, the things are everywhere. Its cool, but not needed.

The wobbajack is a goof. Its fun to use but its just a meme. Then back to playing the game.

Spellbreaker is likely the best sheild in the game. I just never use shields. I usually use a spell in the left hand. Sometimes another weapon. Armor is good enough to protect.

I rank Wabbajack as 1st cause full luck base and my boy Sheogorath is the best daedric prince

Fiery soul capture enchantment + black star is great especially if you have the two enchantment perk cause its 2 enchantments and a soul capture and a soul gem that never runs out so its got infinite charge

Also the final boss of ironbind barrow drops an ebony weapon of whatever type you have equipped

Oh yeah and also a level 1 bandit counts as a grand soul so

spellbreaker is artefact dwemer not daedric

Waiting for a part 2 because there are still 21 artifacts to uncover yet but the Umbra sword is my favorite

dont forget that ebony blade gets more damage after you cover it in blood and the damage increase is permanent, when you do the quest and kill people

Although not exactly a daedric artifact, I still count the sword of Jyggalag as one of my favorites due to the fact that you can enchant it yourself with whatever you want to put on it.

My favorite is the Masque of Clavicus Vile. It has a decent defense rating on its own, it is cool looking, and it can drastically increase the amount of cash you get on trading runs.

Sanguine Rose is by far the best imo. It has saved me soooo many times by spawning a durable distraction for my foes.

My theory is tha Dwemers gived Volendrung to Malachath, the king of curse, to curse the snow-elfs into betrayed falmers

For some reason I some how got two dawnbreakers from Meridia

cant believe he forgot to mention the lusty argonian maid vol 1 and 2, artifacts of the daedric prince of lonely nights and self pleasure

I somehow got 2 dawn breakers and didn't even realize these items were daedric artifacts

I like dwarf shield which renders enemies aetheric. Useful for restoration builds. I hunt necros usually.

You can also dupe the Black Star, so you basically have as many infinite black soul gems as you’d like.

Sanguine Rose is amazing. Helps in early stages, and works as distraction on higher ones
I love Dawnbreaker! Great weapon, especially since Dawnguard is my most favorite quest line (though explosion s from the sword scare Serana. I'm sorry, my dear;(
The Mehrunes Razor has a great design
Molag Bal's mace is WONDERFUL, yet Serana is traumatised, so no>:(
Spell breaker is the best shield for me. Great design. Auriel's shield is prettierz, but it's enchantment is meh

I used to like dawnbreaker. Until I realized it blew items in the vicinity as well. Never to be seen again. 😭😭😭
My favourite daedric weapon will always be bow of shadows. Even if the invisibility perk stops working after a while.

Spellbreaker was always my favorite. It looks so cool and it's really usefull if you have no range

The Ebony Blade can also be charged on horses. The most efiicient method is Undead Thrall spell, of course, but it's also a very high-level spell that can be hard to obtain. If you're not a mage or don't want to kill human allies, as long as you have the funds, you could power it up with horses instead. It should also work with Shadowmere, but it does take him 10 days to respawn, so that would take some exceptional patience.

Wabbajack can also summon sweet rolls and gold piles but are very rare
