i love beeing super high on speed
ОтветитьDuring the chariot demonstration, found myself leaning with Richard 🤣
Ответитьchina bullet train reached same level to japan.. and more economic
ОтветитьJust got back from Japan and my God what a marvel of a country. The Shinkansen is an engineering miracle
ОтветитьSir Richard Hammond👏👏👏
ОтветитьLet's see Paul Allen's train wheels...
ОтветитьThank you so much for this detailed explanation! I have been enjoying travel by shinkasen since 2001. I prever Shinkansen to aircraf!
ОтветитьNow if only America could get some high speed rail
ОтветитьSo maybe we're not meant to go so fast? What's the big deal about speed? Anyway, if the wheels were up the side of the car, it could never derail. There's a train in Barcelona , Spain, built like that; the cost of laying the elevated track is less than ten percent of a ground based track too. Plus it barely interferes with nature except where the posts go in the ground. That's the train to develop. I still think we should SLOW DOWN. Whatever happened to "Getting there is half the fun!" ?
Ответитьハモンド、かつてのトップギア以外でも
日本に来ていたんだな。
Can one not reverse the traction wheels.
Also the Ballast bounce effect can be absorbed..
Redesign both traction interfaces.
Use an air pressure system to redistribute energy😊
The Shinkansen is truly a marvel of modern tech. Having traveled on them numerous times, they never fail to amaze.
Just a pity Mr Hammond, like so many other TV presenters, cannot pronounce "kilometres" correctly.
Hammond rail ??? When was the last time your rails were checked for true, level and straight ????
ОтветитьJust out of curiosity, do the bullet train drivers need to have a certain level of reaction time ?
ОтветитьThe front of the bullet train looks an awful lot like Jeremy Clarkson wearing his tiny car that he took on Dragons Den
Ответитьsomethings just sound so easy after the fact like why didn't i think of that
ОтветитьAhhh I love the 'Keep It Simple Stupid' motto.....How to turn a train into a bullet train???? Give me an L85A2
ОтветитьLeaning into the corner does not reduce the centrifugal force. That is only dependent on the mass chariot + occupants, the speed and the radius of the corner being taken. What leaning does is to displace the centre of gravity of the chariot + occupants, to keep it from tipping over. Also leaning keeps the "vertical axis" of the internal structure aligned with the total of gravity + centrifugal force
Ответитьamazing
ОтветитьAah, engineering explained for the masses.
ОтветитьThe tracks are not straight so that causes the carriage to sway from side to side and then derail.
ОтветитьHigh speed trains can travel at speeds only on straight stretches.
ОтветитьNice James Burke Connection
ОтветитьAnd china copy them, everyone,no get mad china,it's the trurh
ОтветитьThankyou Richard Hammond are they As fast UK and Europe
Ответитьθ
ОтветитьColumbia .... Columbia ... Columbia
ОтветитьMy home state of California is currently building America's first and so far only true high speed rail line, that'll one day connect San Francisco and Los Angeles in under three hours. Like Japan's Bullet Train, it too will employ a similar early earthquake detection system. Despite setbacks and cost overruns, not unlike Japan's first bullet train line that cost twice its original budget, progress has been moving at a steady pace for the past several years in California's Central Valley, and will one day extend into SF and LA.
Ответитьd
ОтветитьI think I 🤔 know, but you can explain how the circuit complete 🤔
ОтветитьWhat I learned is to be interesting you don’t need a farm
ОтветитьNothing but respect and admiration for the Japanese engineers and scientists.
ОтветитьIf hammond presents how a rock becomes sand I would watch it in full attention.
ОтветитьChina and Japan have the magrails now. So crazy
ОтветитьThanks for uploading
Ответитьfunny how france have had these trains for more than 30 years
ОтветитьCalling anything 'reel truth' is bad English because the word 'truth' already implies that it is real. This is called a pleonasm.
Using pleonasms in a text tells your reader/listener that your English education is below average and therefore sucks and you don't want to be a sucker, do you? Oh yeah, before I forget, 'reel' is spelled 'real' and not 'reel'. A reel is something you use to wind up your fishing line or audio tape.
the reason the test wheels derailed, is they hit the concrete sleeper
ОтветитьLol imagine thinking shinkansen was the first EMU
ОтветитьHh
Ответитьplease set the english subtitle...thank you so much
ОтветитьI was there for work , Narita - Tokyo some years ago , fast ,in time and very clean
ОтветитьIt is not about current !! You need effect !
V*A= W.
According to my calculations high speed trains +200 miles/h use more energy than a airplane ( taken in to consideration both are full ) can be compared to a car that takes 5 liters in 100 km , your airplane journey will consume only half per Passenger.
A normal snail 🐌 train is equal to the airplane , but to reach 200 miles/h voltage ⚡ had to be rised to the double to accive the needed effect , not only expensive but complicated, unnecessary aswell .
Lets fly 🕊️
Almost 60 years of service no fatal victims in the shinkansen... Awesome record!!!
And only with an has an annual average delay of 6 seconds
