This was so fun to watch.
ОтветитьThis is all interesting and stuff, but we should remember that it is also really stupid, unnecessary and used to reinforce power structures and keep people locked out. The fact that she is so enthousiastic about it genuinely puts me off big time
ОтветитьI would love for her to react to the etiquette classes in Enola Holmes
ОтветитьLiberals have ruined the world. Life used to be magnificent
ОтветитьNot me learning to put my pinky out when drinking tea at a young age and internalizing it and doing it as an adult 😂🤦♀️
Ответитьthats what i like about the dowager countess, shes lived a long enough life that she no longer cares about being prim and proper, she just says what she thinks and doesnt care
Ответитьits amazing how much time and effort people put into things that dont really matter, isnt it? its interesting to know these things but im absolutely never going to put effort into figuring out what side my forks are supposed to go on when eating. even the basic things seem like far too much effort to put into eating and talking. takes the fun out of life, doesnt it? when youre watching everything you do to make sure its proper?
ОтветитьI never thought a video explaining manners would be so interesting.
ОтветитьThe Downton Abbey curtsey is a joke. An obvious one at that. But ok.
ОтветитьWay too pretentious for me. She takes this way too seriously for my tastes.
ОтветитьRich people back then: Don’t shame anyone, that makes the situation uncomfortable and is very unpleasant.
Rich people now: PATRICIA!!
Will there be Closed Captions soon?
ОтветитьNo pinkie up?!!!! Are you telling me my whole life has been a lie??!!
ОтветитьI clicked on this video as I was confused why Anne Hathways knee was looking like a belly button, and I watched the entire video somehow …
ОтветитьI couldn't imagine existing this way constantly
ОтветитьI was a little girl who followed rules, and was very interested in etiquette. There was one big faux pas I would fall into, which was to alert someone when they were performing poor etiquette. Ironic, I know. It was an attempt an empathy, knowing that I would’ve liked to be told, but not realizing not everyone has that desire. I still have the desire to “fix” etiquette mistakes; but I have to remind myself that it isn’t my job to fix anyone, and that bad manners are not fixed with more bad manners. The response to a faux pas is just as telling as the faux pas itself.
ОтветитьI love etiquettes. I wish we still had some stuff like this. its very disciplined
ОтветитьI like listening to this lady.
ОтветитьImagine introducing yourself as an etiquette expert
ОтветитьI loved this. I'm all about proper etiquette. I wish people were still like this. I'm often called "stuck-up" because I choose to be proper.
ОтветитьEverytime you say her name you sound more and more like a Brit
ОтветитьIt's really hard to take an etiquette expert who sounds like a valley girl seriously.
Ответитьtheres a second downtown abbey movie??
ОтветитьI wish people would learn etiquette today as well. Especially in schools. Maybe not as restrictive as in the past, but some of them would probably apply now as well. People lost the sense of respect, shame and courtesy, I just feel like we're regressing instead of evolving. I would love to learn etiquette and actually use it in society.
ОтветитьUh.. I’m sorry, I think you mean your name is Mykkal Meiers.
ОтветитьHer eyebrows are bad etiquette
ОтветитьAn American expert on etiquette, OMG
ОтветитьI want to take an etiquette class 😩
ОтветитьDazzling❤️
ОтветитьLOL...politeness and courtesy are dead in our society, let alone proper etiquette. It's unfortunate but we have descended into madness.
Ответитьwish we had some etiquette. society has really degraded.
Ответитьcant believe her name is Michael Myers
ОтветитьCan we bring this back
ОтветитьI really love the idea of switching who you talk to so no one feels left out.
ОтветитьOoh, that's why every movie/novel/webtoon I read with Kingdom background they're always use gloves. I always confused for it, thank you for share it :D
Ответитьin the last clip i would have loved to see her response to the line "A lady revels nothing."
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Elegance and etiquette are people's calling card. We must have some of these rules in our lives. 👍
ОтветитьPart of me wants to say if you're into etiquette as a hobby, then sure, whatever, do what you like. Part of me wants to call it all a bunch of classist BS that only serves to justify dehumanization of poor people for not knowing and following an arbitrary and archaic set of "rules".
ОтветитьIs anyone going to talk about the fact that her name is basically michael myers?
Ответитьthe upper class is so evil that acknowledging and speaking to your staff is "good etiquette" LMFAO
ОтветитьWhat was ladylike then is NOT completely outdated. Please get some class back in this world of filth and promiscuity
ОтветитьIt was absolutely fun to watch this! 😀
ОтветитьNo es sorprendente que elija la película norteamericana como la más divertida. --__--
ОтветитьShe doesn't cover what one should do if one breaks wind unexpectedly.
ОтветитьThis was actually really wholesome and not intimidating
ОтветитьSo tea cup holding etiquette gives a kind of sidways middle finger?
Ответить
