I recently bought the Holy Grail dvd, so this is awesome

Love the Birds of Paradise, but hate that it's a single dual-sided card. Was hoping it was two separate cards for showcase purposes.

Also curious what the bonus cards will be (if they include any). Really hoping for any combination of the Rabbit, the Holy Hand Grenade or the Frenchman. Not sure which cards they'd use for them, but so far I have not been disappointed with their choices.

I stopped playing magic because of how disappointing it is. I find it a rare occurrence that every person I talk to in the DFW area have nothing good to say about the game or the health of the game.

Format is stale, very little local tournaments, commander is main play locally, too many sets, etc.

Idk why people even keep playing this game if you’ve got nothing good to say about it.

Banned cards should become trade-ins at your LGS that can mail the card to WOtC. That way people don’t feel burned for buying a pack with banned card.

Couldn't you just buy them as proxies though and not pay a stupid amount of money for them? That way you can make secret lairs of whatever you want

Honestly there’s answers players just aren’t playing them. I heard some people whining they were gonna have to have 3 sideboard slots tied up to fight nadu…. Big whoop. Play the answers.

Did you play type II during the Urza block when the most important decision was who went first cause the game was over before turn 3…. This kind of stuff has been happening forever.

Nadu isn’t expensive because it’s a rare in a massively opened set, and it’s priced as if everyone is expecting a ban

Hey, anybody find it suspicious that wotc breaks every other format shortly after they say they are going to push standard? Seems like other formats failing might benefit standard by pushing people out of the other formats...

Why would anyone play Modern? Standard already died when everything became Commander, and this Summer of Hogaak shit is absurd... Magic is actually dying from it's own incompetence. btw, Cynthia's replacement is probably gonna kill Arena.

This and the ruination of Standard is what comes from catering to Commander.

The problem is that nadu the gathering sounds just as good as magic the nadu.

I gave up with all the crazy different formats at some point too many options causes too much division

i want wizards to fold so hard. and that wish gets stronger every day. the last 10 years have been miserable.

modern used to be like the format. it was the format me and my friends picked up because it didnt rotate and it wasnt legacy cuz nobody can afford that. and now we're like 2 steps away from quitting cuz everything is so expensive and it's just gonna rotate in a year anyway. and to make it worse every shop in the area basically doubled the entry fee cuz wizards had this genius idea to get rid of draft boosters and now we all have to pay for trash play booster prices. we stopped going to events altogether.

there is also the dove that has a coconut tied to it by rope by Sir Bedivere. so lets hope for dovescape or a carrier pigeons to finish the coconut birds. though Akroan Horse could also be nicely transformed into a rabbit. or the Holy Hand granade as a Nevinyrral's Disk perhaps?
