Mann man love it!!!!!
ОтветитьHello
Sir
I want to know that what is the difference Network Engineer or Software Automation testing ?
On the other hand
Which one is more easy?
within the first 10s you got a sub. what stood out is that you taught yourself and I respect that!!
ОтветитьIt’s crazy how you get offered those jobs without having a degree… that doesn’t happen here in Canada at least. Don’t you need a degree to get those jobs in the US? It’s an honest question. Thanks for sharing your story, I loved it 👨🏼💻
ОтветитьHey, I want to be a NOC analyst, can you recommend any path to start and grow?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing Jon!
ОтветитьWhat math configuration do
You do during the day at work ?
Congrats on leveling up!
Ответитьaudio in this video had me thinking my studio headphones were broken
ОтветитьHe was never a successful comedian or actor. He ran shows with actual comedians and being the promoter he paid them penny’s if at all. As far as acting he was in Howard’s movie as a favor and he stuttered for like 5 minutes and that was it
ОтветитьSo what pays better this or software dev/ software engineering? And which one is harder to train for?
ОтветитьYou put in the work and deservedly got what you're worth. Learned a lot from your story. Thanks!
ОтветитьLong story short. Jon was around when multiple opportunities continuously helping him move upward. An unrealistic path to where he is. Not applicable to most.
ОтветитьThumbs up. Thanks for the share.
ОтветитьCrazy thing is I always think I don’t know any thing no matter how much work or studying I do 😅 lol
ОтветитьThis is raw and real advice! Thank you man and congrats 🔥🔥🙏
ОтветитьSeriously appreciated hearing this journey, thanks man. I needed that inspiration and your story gave it!
What certification would you first recommend getting now that you've gone through this journey (I'm taking my first baby steps into Networking)? Still start with the CCST?
Thank you. I enjoyed the video. Great tips, great work, and great encouragement.
ОтветитьI watch every second of your story. It's inspiring
ОтветитьWhat should you think I could learn and do it remotely and no need of math this or cloud engineer and what is easy to do and learn @jongreenit ?
ОтветитьYou from the MET... Lets Goooo
ОтветитьThank you for making this video Jon.
I'm turning 30 this month, and I've had an interest in Network Engineering in the past, and recently again.
I'm wanting to go the same sort of route you took to get a senior role.
I'm curious, now that you've been in the role for more than 2 years, what are some things you could recommend to a new guy wanting to break into the field and get that senior role within say, 2 years?
Again, thanks for showing me it can be done without a degeree.
That is actually insane that even with a ccnp you couldnt land any networking job, especially during that 2021-2022 period. Im currently studying for the CCNA in hopes of appealing better to potential employers but the thing is I've been in IT for over 10+ years. been looking for a mid-level IT job for over 2+ months now and its been constant rejections. The market is incredibly tough right now
ОтветитьIm doing an IT degree and just completed a networking subject. Covered the basics such as subnettin, ipv4, osi model. How long would it take for to complete the ccna?
ОтветитьWhat position were you freelancing under?
ОтветитьTo get a tech job these days, you don’t really need a college degree. Just study and pass the professional exams. Mcse, Ccie, Ocp, Vcp and so on. The sky’s the limit…
ОтветитьHello. I am a paraplegic, and I really enjoy my CCNA classes thus far. Does this job require the lifting of heavy equipment?
ОтветитьIt’s like the further you got into your story, the more hype I was getting lol seeing you actively make the decision to not settle and keep pushing beyond the rough patch is so motivating! Congratulations on your huge W 🎉
ОтветитьHi, do you remember the resume writer you used?
ОтветитьAs an African with over 10 years of Experience in IT and currently a Senior Systems Engineer. Do you think ill be able to get a job in the US?
ОтветитьI’m in school now for an associate degree in computer networking. I have zero experience but will try for internship while in school. What is the starting hourly pay to expect?
ОтветитьGood for you for not taking the police job. I hate those pigs.
ОтветитьI’m stuck in between going back to school or just doing certifications in software or network engineering….any suggestions
ОтветитьIt's all about gaining the hands-on experience and showing the proof on paper and the money will eventually fall into place. Greatly appreciate you sharing your journey and the motivation that came along with it!!! Keep up the greatness!!!
Ответитьhow do you do portfolio projects?
ОтветитьBro good luck you have motivated me a lot so if i started to work what i need to do to be network engineer ccna and ccnp is enough to get hired with a salary 40 per hour ????
ОтветитьCan you help me find a good online certificate course if you don’t mind?
ОтветитьHere’s the summary take CompTIA test like everyone else….. nothing to see here
ОтветитьI'm perusing my 2 year IT Network Specialist degree, and eventually a Computer Science degree to become a Network Engineer.
ОтветитьYoo that’s crazy I’m in Columbia too learning the same shit this helped a bit thx
ОтветитьVery good video. Informative, detailed and encouraging.Well done! I hope viewers (including mysefl) take as much from it as they can!
Ответить🔦
ОтветитьYour story is so inspiring! Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьThis is also my first year as an engineering student working in IT industry as a DevOps specialist
Ответитьbro i was interested to become network engineer can you please tell me where i can learn skills to be network engineer
ОтветитьIn the same boat now. 65k a year with few bennies or go to NDE training and aim for 120k? Maybe?
