2. When I click open Sonic Studio and click On or Default, a hoarse/crackling sound is heard.

ASUS Maximus IX Hero - Z270 for Kaby Lake i7 7700k , But what memory can i use for gaming i need like 16go but not very expensive.

So wifi is an option on this board if needed? Also, the two M.2 sockets, does it make a difference which one to use to achieve the up to 32 gbs speeds if possible?

I still cant decide between Asus or Gigabyte. What I have in mind is to get Gigabyte Aorus Z270x Gaming 7 or the Asus Maximus Hero 9. Whats the difference between these two boards and also the difference between Asus Maximus 9 and Asus Maximus 9 ROG. Also I considered Asus Maximus Formula but its just to confusing what should I get.

There are a few things this mobo has thay my Maximus VIII Hero doesn't. However I don't currently need 2 m.2/u.2 ssd slots.The newer u.2 1.0TB ssd's are out of my price range. The 1.0TB ssd's are what I personally need for all my games & software I use.I can't afford over $400.00 for a newer 1.0TB. u.2 ssd.

RainMaN: Yes, they are. My case has a 4=channel fan controller on it. Each channel supports 4 fans. Top, Front, Rear and Bottom. I have all my case fans plugged in the case's fan controller. The only thing plugged into my Maximus VIII Hero motherboard is my Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 cpu cooler. The Arctic fans are unique and are setup to be able to plug into each other. I have the cooler pluged into the waterpump header and the 4 fans connected to each other and plugged into the cpu header. My pc keeps cool under 67 degrees overclock from 3.5GHz. to 4.5GHz. Kabylake and this mobo. aren't worth the upgrade from a Z170 mobo & Skylake cpu. Not much of a performance increase.

I got mine today along with the kaby lake. Can't wait to put it together. If I have any questions can I email you?

Ive got a Question, or anybody for that matter. Are fan splitters safe? My motherboard, asus maximus ix hero has four chassis fan headers and im wanting to hook up 6 fans, not using a fan controller or hub, but hooked up to the motherboard. The fans im going to use are pwm by the way, corsair ml140's. Ive read thats its ok to use fan splitters and ive heard that its bad and can burn out the motherboard, please help!!
