Hi Blender Guru. The Density number isn't an arbitrary number, it is the number of points per m^2, or if you distribute in a volume, points per m^3
Ответить1.2 meters donut for Americans is a light breakfast
Ответитьkurwa u didnt tell us how to actually change the name on the single geometry max density wtf its called node. how u change exactly that name? when i press f2 i change the whole node name not only that geometry max
ОтветитьWhen I add "distribute points on faces" it just adds one big point, almost the size of the donut. Any ideas how to fix it?
ОтветитьProbably stupid question but I moved the view off of the donut and for some reason I just can't figure out how to focus on the donut again. I am clicking numpad period, numpad zero, (i'm in the geometry node view btw) and i just can't get back. The only way back is to meticulously move the camera with shift middle-mouse button and then angle it and repeatedly try to get the camera back on the donut again
ОтветитьPoisson is the french for fish 😉
ОтветитьAwsome Tutorial! For some reason I didn't had to do any scale adjustments. Everything translate fine when scaling.
Ответить"A" for Avery- A FOR ALL 😂😂😂
ОтветитьFor Americans, 1.2m X 1.2m X 0.58m donut will be just fine.
Ответитьfor some reason even though I duplicate the donut attachment (including the dough and the icing) the icing doesn't get duplicated , I even paired them (is it related to locking the transform?) plz help
ОтветитьHello! when i try to add the points on the GN the point are huge and only show 1 o 2 tops any suggestions on how to fix this?
ОтветитьSlight issue i've found is i made the donut the right size to start with and i can't get the density of points high enough, i've come from 3ds Max, why would you not start of making an object the right size to start with ?.
Ответитьterimakasih guru
Ответитьi dont have geometry nodes :(
ОтветитьFunny thing is that i got so far and rn decided to start doing models for small project with friends but 99% of knowledge gained here cant be utilized by me as its low poly robots models
ОтветитьWhy do I get so lost later in the parts?
Ответитьcan anyone help me I cant find named attribute
ОтветитьI love how he remade this series, and Imperial Unit System is wacky all the time😁
ОтветитьHow come your icing scene is not in your collection?
Ответитьive had to restart like 6 times because some things just wont work the way they are for you. the paint mask in the middle wont work on the donut side, the sprinkles only show up 2 and cant see them until i make them giant
ОтветитьWhen I zoom in after shrinking the donut my camera moves super slowly. How do I fix this?
ОтветитьI haven't touched Blender in a while and damn! Those Geometry Nodes are sick!
ОтветитьMy sprinklers just got bigger when I apply the scale what should I do??
ОтветитьVery CONFUSE after the scale ... the sprinkles disappear 👎
ОтветитьAm I the only one itching and scratching while distributing those round sprinkles on the donut? 🥲🥲🥲
Ответитьsomething is wrong with my sprinkles when I apply the scale :(
ОтветитьI have added the spherical sprinkles to the donut. When I go to export to STL I get the donut and icing object but the sprinkles do not appear in the STL file. I get the one random sphere I created for the geometry nodes floating off in space near the donut. How do you make the geometry nodes part of the export?
Ответитьcoming from bifrost I feel right at home
Ответитьlol
Ответить"A for A-everything" had me dying
ОтветитьThis is where I lost the plot last go around so let’s hope it goes better this time lol
ОтветитьInteresting approach differente to the one we had in the previous donut, loving it so far.
ОтветитьThe sprinkles would've been a good way to explain instancing, and why a high resolution sprinkle isn't actually going to be too expensive for the PC.
The scene scaling would've been a good way to explain changing the transformation origin. To the 3D cursor in the world origin in this case.
I was doing the previous Blender Donut series. It is much better to start with the spheres than jump directly into the long sprinkles. It was a bit harder to absorb all that info. Thanks for the great series
ОтветитьPart 6 lets go, i still haven't given up
ОтветитьI must say this is a great tutorial. I've tried every time you've made a new one of these but have never finished it. This is as far as I've ever gotten and I'm honestly really pumped. I know that so many people in the comments are saying stuff like this but I genuinely hope I finish it this time around. Blender is something I've wanted to learn for the better part of a decade but somehow never could. Heres hoping I stick with it this time. Thanks for your help. :)
ОтветитьNice, Thanks!
ОтветитьI'm a little stuck on "If you hit N in your properties", that doesn't seem to do anything.
ОтветитьI can't believe I was following the 3.0 tutorials all day (started my donut this morning) and I kept having to go on google for tips as the versions have some different settings... and I'm at the last step of my donut... and NOW I see there is a new series uploaded yesterday 🤣🤣😭 I'm gonna finish this donut and start again!
ОтветитьAren't you gonna add that displacement lumpy texture to the donut this time?
ОтветитьI'm following this exactly and the donut looks the same as his, but I honestly don't have a clue what I'm doing
ОтветитьI have never touched 3D software before and the same little old me has currently a donut with sprinkles on top.. just awesome! 🤩👍 Can't wait to learn more, thank you so much Andrew!
Ответитьim just thanking you on every video you upload, i know its not enough but its all i can at this time maybe later i will donate you and hope so
Ответитьi feel like you should change your channel logo to a donut for aprill fools
ОтветитьLooking good so far, learned a lot, and finally geometry nodes has "clicked" for me! Thank you <3
ОтветитьThis geo node is bs …
