They put these things in Yuma only time they get used is when we have snowbirds here so the rest of the time they just sit there baking in the sun
ОтветитьThe ocean likes batteries, it wants them
ОтветитьThe only thing I think is more lame than a scooter is braking them for fun. Ape behavior
Ответить“Wanna go downtown get drunk and ride scooters”
ОтветитьSo the take away here is that the scooters are not bad, but ppl are too retarded to use them
ОтветитьNatures breathalyser.
Ответитьthe problem is not the scooters, but the moronic youth using the damn things.
ОтветитьIn Australia I found a pile of them without batteries someone stole the batteries out of them
Ответить🛴🤬
ОтветитьBan them all.
And there is nothing "green" about batteries you buffoon.
Just came over from your “friend” internet historian and currently binging all of your channel. Good shit m8
Ответитьmy brother broke his arm riding one of those E-scooters
ОтветитьI can’t believe those existed back then.
ОтветитьI really like having these scooters around. I don’t use them for long journeys, but when I want to go to my mate down the road, it’s just so convenient
ОтветитьThe UK government would rather pollute the streets with private e scooters just because of profit but want to ban people from owning their own scooters
Ответитьlithium-ion batteries aren't (((green)))
No ev is.
This only proves that most humans are massive jerks who don't care other people's property on the inside
ОтветитьWho would even buy the scooter? Totally unnecessary useless thing. Either walk and use the public transport or buy a car, who needs their scooters? Ot idk at least in Europe it is useless, idk about USA ofc
ОтветитьEcerything you need to fix the problem of e-scooters slamming people is to build some good bike roads and thats it.
ОтветитьThat burning man story is suchbullshit. Creating fake backstories is nothing new in business. From snak oil salesmen bringing "medicines from the orient" to all those "rags to riches" stories about the children of wealthy people in power, now to the obnoxiuous vipers masquerading as "some cool dudes triying to save the world" by making worse versions of things that already exist.
"I had the idea on a vision quest at a collaborative art festival" is the new "I perfected the medical arts of the orient and created this cure-all". It would surprise me if the committee crafting that story had less than two marketing and pr consultants
Excellent presentation on a hideous dangerous ugly device! Thank you!
ОтветитьAnother thing that makes bicycles different from the scooters is at the bicycles have two giant wheels on them that act like gyroscopes keeping you upright. Those tiny ass scooter wheels just aren't as inertia-y
ОтветитьI know in Venice beach us locals don’t like them , especially when a dumb tourist get on them and eat shit on the sandy bike path 😂😂
They end up in the on the dummies put them on the pier or the canal’s or just straight out break them😂😂😂😂😂
I worked for an E-Scooter provider for a couple of years.
One of my favourite titbits is how they got an electric van (with which we would collect/relocate scooters and change their batteries) that proudly displayed how "This vehicle is 100% electric!" and the companies name on every side.
The other three diesel vans we were using had no markings on them whatsoever, for some reason...
I rode one of these for the first time recently and I hated it. I believe the branding was Lime(?). The throttle kept getting stuck so it would randomly try to get away from me when I stopped. I constantly felt like I was going to fall over. I was so tense that I swear my muscles ached far more than they would have if I'd walked. I felt like I had to apologize to everyone I got within 10 feet of. I absolutely had tears in my eyes when we finally stopped. 0/10 will never complain about my feet hurting on a walk ever again. The only good thing was we did, indeed, get where we were going faster, but I'd rather there were just better infrastructure and public transit options. I think the "it's fun" argument ignores the--I suspect--fairly large population that thinks they are the opposite of fun.
ОтветитьI own an electric converted adult standing bike, does that make me some sort of half mutant? Yes, yes it does.
ОтветитьThis NWO crap should be destroyed on sight
ОтветитьWow scooters running into people? I cant wait for him to find out about "car accidents" 🤡🤡
I love how people like this guy complain about scooters while comparing them to bikes. Bikes are longer and take up more space
The scooters going on strike is hilarious
ОтветитьThis is the last video posted on this channel i found enjoyable funny and informative. Everything posted after feels like im watching the news on CNN.
ОтветитьThe biggest problem with scooters, is obviously a lack of regulations.
Like how is it legal to take those things on a highway.
Also they should have invested more into making them aware of vandalism, sensors / cameras etc. and then cooperate with the law.
If the companies were built on profit basis, maybe someone would care about the destruction of scooters, but neither companies or law care about them, and it shows.
Never rode one and I still prefer renting a bike.
I had no idea the world hates these f*cking things as much as me!
ОтветитьSturdy and dependable scooter.
Ответить90% of the problem seems to be corporate greed and the rent services for scooters... However, e-scooters or e-bikes are where EVs are at their best - small, light and efficient, and you can shove one under your office desk where nobody has to care about it. Regarding exploding batteries... worse than smartphones, much better than teslas or other electric cars that are normal-car-wannabes. The electric hummer, for example, shouldn't exist.
Private ownership of scooters will mean that people are more responsible with them. Unfortunately, it looks like the corpos are ruining things for everyone as they always do, almost as if it the explicit act of ruining something was a universally profitable business model in of itself or something.
Or perhaps it's something about corporate private sector caring about profit and nothing but profit, at the expense of everything else...
Ultimately, I don't really want the "e-scooter bad" idea to get widespread adoption.
I don’t ride the e scooters in my city because the experience is terrifying. I also don’t destroy them or throw them in the river. It’s just so simple to like… ignore them???
Ответитьits like an invasive species
ОтветитьThey are illegal where I life so I had no idea about them until like last month when I went on vacation to Norway😂. I still have no idea how they get charged.
ОтветитьAlter die E-Scooter sind so nervig, gibt keinen der normal mit denen fahren kann, die fahren mit 50 auf dem Gehsteig, gehören verboten
ОтветитьAny adults using them are cringe
ОтветитьEver try putting out a lithium battery fire? Want to talk about bad for the environment and dangerous to boot? EVs are infinitely worse than gasoline engines.
ОтветитьYou know another eco friendly, effective (and my personal favorite) transportation option that goes widely overlooked by the general population? WHEELCHAIRS. Everyone always forgets the wheelchair.
ОтветитьI was going downhill on a lime topping out at 20mph, one little crack had me flip over and left me limping my way home along with a cool scar on my wrist
ОтветитьPropaganda designed to excuse the murder of mass transit disruption.
Its a psyop against Chinese profit if you really wanna get tinfoil hat about it
Us government and ajdacent interest private sector companies didnt want some nerdy dudes from getting rich on something other countries allow with no issue...makes sense.
The concept of e-scooters is great. The problem is the people riding them
ОтветитьThis is why we cant have nice things.
ОтветитьSomebody stole my bike a couple months ago
Replaced it with an E-scooter and i can get around just as quick without the risk of it being stolen since i can fold it and mount it on my backpack whenever i want and keep it inside all night.
First time they came to my city we of course used them drunk to have fun during night, like most of the other students. What a stupid concept, Ive bought dashcam just to stop being scared of running over idiots driving scooters, without any knowledge or giving any fuck about trafic rules. Running red lights, rushing trough pedestrian crossings, changing lanes without any signal etc... Most of the scooter users do not own driving licence and if they do they dont drive regularly.
