Was it right? Of course it was! They were warned, didn’t listen, so fuck em! Look up and wait for the flash.
ОтветитьOne of these is still parked on the hill overlooking fort Riley
ОтветитьCan the world even imagine what would happen if we shared nothing to the world....... THE WORLD IS LUCKY WE ARE NOT RUSSIA OR CHINA......

ОтветитьShould have kept several in case,
ОтветитьYour reference to the "jealousy" of the army of the air force is a rather simplistic view. The jealousy was, AND STILL IS, rooted in the battles for taxpayer dollars. the air force was the favorite child at the time because it was perceived that the air force would win the next war due to their ability to deliver nuclear weapons. The army wanted to be able to argue they were still relevant and in need of a bigger piece of the pie. The same thing happened with Ground Launched Cruise Missiles (GLCM). The army said (claimed) they couldn't defend it in Europe with less than a battalion. The air force said they could do it with a platoon. The army was embarrassed that they lost the money so they jumped onto the Pershing MRBM to try to take back a bigger piece of the pie. This same in fighting continues even today between the services. It's not just the air force and army. All the services participate. Just think about the 600-ship navy, and the "camouflaged" uniform debacle with competitions for "combat" uniforms based on the various service color instead of the terrain (bright blue naval uniforms, undertones of blue with greys for the air force and greys for the army.) And, lets not forget the USMC pigheadedness in copywriting "their" uniform so the other services couldn't use anything similar to the detriment of the entire armed services.
Ответить"Launch a big bazooka out of the back of a jeep"
Oh, OH, Oh, 🤚🖐🤚 can we all say Davy Crockett
I would set up Atomic Annie on the edge of the south side of the DMZ facing north and rename it Paul Bunyan Sr.
ОтветитьBig fan of the channel. But i think the bomb footage is fake. Case in point, how was the camera not affected at all? I'm not doubting the existence of the weapon. But i believe these videos were propaganda against foreign enemies.
ОтветитьWhere's all the depleted uranium now?
BUH😂
Hmmmm 15 days huh. I think he was already working on it
ОтветитьAmericans use metric for money 😆😆😆 16 coins for pound Dollar should be 112
ОтветитьAmerica lost Vietnam Afghanistan ???? Not the best boys
ОтветитьCan you do a video on Vought SLAM / Project Pluto? Nuclear powered cruise missile that had unlimited range and would kick nukes out the back as it passed by targets, then when it ran out it would fly around the soviet countryside destroying things with its supersonic shockwave spewing radiation all over. The nuclear engine was tested on the stand and worked before saner heads prevailed.
ОтветитьFun fact there is what remains of an M65 up on a hill just outside Fort Riley that you can visit via a sketchy gravel trail. Trust me as someone who has climbed onto one of these they are massive.
ОтветитьMet an "Atomic Annie" Tractor Driver. He moved her every few nights around Germany through narrow streets & villages. "As bad as driving through Boston" was his analogy.
ОтветитьThe one that fired the nuclear round is on display at Ft.Sill. Was pretty wild to run past it during PT in the mornings back in the 90s.
ОтветитьJust know, I had a customer who served in the army and actually worked with these. Showed him the video of it firing, and he told me he was there when they first fired it. He told me about these guns
ОтветитьFuk that how many blue whales waz that?
ОтветитьFuk that how many blue whales waz that?
Ответитьwhat the fuck is this vertical video'
Ответитьi wont take shit from someone who measures using a british kings feet
ОтветитьSounds like the Davy Crockett weapon system. If I remember correctly, the blast radius of the munition was greater than the launch range.
ОтветитьI had a toy one of these as a kid. It was great
ОтветитьIn Britain we created a National Health Service.
America created an International Unhealth Service.
I love the soundtrack they picked for the Atomic Annie test.
Ответитьif i remember correctly i think Ft. Riley has one of these sitting on top of a hill across the interstate from the airfield.
Ответить1701st, 2 January 2024
ОтветитьFinally, someone else who hates the metric system as much as I do.
ОтветитьI still think Nuclear grenades could be effective...
...at psychological warfare.
Awesome video!!! Where I live in Kansas there is actually 1 of these weapons on a hilltop overlooking the interstate!!!! You walk a trail up to it and climb around.
ОтветитьLet's see the Earth curvature is every 3 me it has the maximum curve that if that's it is 3 to every Mile and it is 20 mi away 20 ÷ 3= 6.666 forever just weird fact lol
ОтветитьOkay. The line, Large aquatic mammal still a better unit of measurement than the metric system had me laughing pretty good
ОтветитьNo wounder ALL the mom and pop small Dairies are going out of business!😢
Yes I miss fresh unfucked with MILK!😂
The buddy in factorio when he’s bored:
ОтветитьI thought you americans wanted to nothing to do with England so why are you still messing around with the imperial system??? 😂😂😂
ОтветитьKind of embarrassing the Military lost an 86 ton piece of hardware for 13 years, but that's not the largest piece of hardware they've lost for the longest amount of time. I believe that honor belongs to the 89 ton T-28/T-95 Super Heavy Tank/Gun Motor Carriage prototype they lost on a firing range behind a f*ck'n bush for 27 years. Check that one out. It's embarrassing.
ОтветитьWe need to pull ole Enola Gay out of moth balls and let her stretch he legs
ОтветитьI thought a ton was 1k not 2 this whole time.
ОтветитьGot the bullet, got the gun -
Time to unleash the power of the sun.
I swear, you are a fountainhead of clever prose.
Nuking Japan was right, & anyone saying otherwise is a waste of oxygen
ОтветитьJust saying but TNT equivalent is expressed de facto in Metric tons (cus metric tons are objectively easier to do math/chemistry with)
ОтветитьIt's only mildly amusing the disdain for the metric system where both of there uses.
ОтветитьThis is from a year ago but I just had to say that my grandfather was one of the drivers of this gun! He's in his late 80's but still to this day if you asked him about this he could tell you whatever you wanted to know by heart though it did cause him to lose most of his hearing.
ОтветитьI find it funny (minus the deaths) that imperial japan was the "Rising sun," meant to symbolize their rise to power, and then we dropped a sun on them and they quite decidedly did not "rise" to world domination..
ОтветитьShe is at FT. SILL to see
ОтветитьAhhh the sun gun
Ответить“That’s not Yeetus Deletus that’s Yeetus Control-alt-deletus” 😂
ОтветитьLast thing you want is to do is go drinking with a marine. My dad was a police chief during the 2000's. I spent alot of time telling sergeants that my marine friends are actually good peoples. Pissed my dad off for sure
ОтветитьMy father was there on the firing range as an Army photographer and told me it was pretty terrifying to see it go off.
Ответить
