Bella Canvas Vs Gildan. Are more expensive blank T-shirts worth the money?

Bella is cool but I like the Gildan fit. Bella is long and tighter in the arms. Gildan softstyle is a good option

This is a great video thank you so much for the information. Another thing to think of is the demographic in the gym. They’re probably feeling hot in the gym and workout and get hot and sweaty often so they’re more likely to gravitate to the thinner material. However people in colder climates would be more likely to choose thicker material :)

A good friend bought a special run of Gildans. Also interesting a restaurant I know of uses Gildans for employees and sale merchandise. Two good endorsements. I have a Gildan since 2011. No tears. No shrinkage.

I hate bellacanvas silk thin appearance. I am custom to heavy cotton quality.

From what I've researched a big difference is the fit. Gildan 5000 doesn't have a seam because it's tubular. This may seem good but what it actually means is the T-Shirt is tube shaped and doesn't have a nice fit around the waist that a seam would allow for. If people had actually worn the T-Shirts they may prefer the Belle due to the contoured fit.

It’s a bummer too.. most custom tees on Etsy use Gildan. I don’t like Gildan.

The cut is the most important for me.
Can you recommend a cut you like, a little snug in the arms..

Personally hate super thin shirts but Bella Canvas is nice with a nicer cut. Gildan is a giant box with no shape. If youre overweight Gildan may make you feel better because the sizes run way big.
The only down side and a huge one that is is that the Bella Canvas collar ribbing is super flimsy and WILL stretch out very fast. They wont hold shape as pretty much any other brand. Thats why I switch to Next Level.

NEXT LEVEL has the best cut, the best feel, no pilling like Bella and Gildan, and the collars will actually keep their shape.

For the highest quality blank go with Original Favorites but theyre triple the cost but will last so much longer.

I just had a customer buy a shirt printed on Gildan and it looked terrible which lead me here. Never using them again.

Do a comparison with Bella Canvas and Lane Seven Urban Tee

I love BC but will be printing on white shirts. Would it be better to go with Gildan for printing designs? Also worried that the BC might be see through bc it is so thin. All my BC shirts are black or grey

Great video, but you should've had people also try them on. I agree that the 3001's feal slightly softer than the Gildan 5000 (G500), but it's a trade off. I used to use Bella Canvas 3001's and 3413's, but one of the things you only find out when wearing them is that the collars are very weak compared to the Gildan 5000 (G500). Personally, I like tighter collars and Bella Canvas t-shirts always disappoint, plus their overall weight is pretty thin. The BC 3001's are 4.2 oz compared to the 5.0-5.3oz of the Gildan 5000.

It doesn't matter to me. After a few washes all my clothes are damaged by color transfer 😂

I’ve tried them all, I think the Next Level Apparel (NLA) provides quality and better fit than both. Majority of my customer base prefer the NLA over BC.

Instead of basic t-shirts comparison, it should be a price to price comparison. If the Bella Canvas starting price is $5, get a $5 t-shirt made by Gilden to make the comparison. Some times t-shirts are made for one day events, and in these events most people wear these t-shirts over their tops. These and many other occasions, no one is interested with the feel of the t-shirt.

I switched from Bella canvas to next level

I need help finding a brand of t’s. I like this heavy weights of shaka & proclub but their too long on the sleeves and torso. I need a athletic style not slim or too fitted. I’m short and stocky lol. Any recommendations

I never had Bella Donna shirts.. I love Gildan because they are thick.. I don't like paper thin shirts.. I got dark nipples and that's why I don't wear Hanes. The Gildans I buy, you can't see thru them. Plus I'm tall and they have long shirts.

George is another brand I like. Same as Gildan but not quite as thick but thick enough. These make good undershirts. I can wear Gildan by itself and not as an undershirt

I love Bella and have been using them but over time, the neck starts to stretch out. On every...single...one... Feels good but look looks like a low cut shirt, that exposes your shoulder blades, at the end of a few weeks. I switched to Gildan.

gildan 64000 is superb, and not at all like the stock gildan thick n chunky one; ETA my opinion is the Bella and Canvas simply do not hold shape after several washes, and look thin and flimsy

I ordered a Bella 3001 from Printful a few years ago. When I it arrived, I was like this is a joke. The tshirt is way too thin. No way I’ll be selling these kind of tshirts to my customers. All these people on YT promoting Bella are sell outs.
