They changed from dct to zf due to the fact that dct wouldn't have been optimal choice for incoming m xdrive system.

I saw similar brand new one in Black color. I was bowled away by how absolutely beautiful it looked! I mean this coupe is seriously good looking.. and it is not even funny!

I just never understood the M4. Just like its predecessor it doesn't have the wide wheel arches the M3 had and it has two less doors. It looks less mean and is less practical. But size and overall performance stay the same. Why anyone would pick the M4 over the M3 is mind boggling to me. For me it's either an M3 or get the M2 if you want a Coupé.

I love this M4...The grill is actually a very impressive design style by BMW. I have to get myself one!!!

idk what it is with these car journalists and their insistence on manual gear selectors, there is simply no demand for them because most people don't drive manual, even people who know how to drive manual don't drive manual, it's inefficient and slow, automatic transmission (whether it is DCT or PDK or whatever) will always be faster

I think it looks good in black with that grill. Any other color the grill sticks out a bit much. Truth is people who buy this car are M enthusiasts and not at all gonna care about the grill and if anything they will like it. Its a great car either way and it will sell either way no matter how many vids you see people complaining about the looks.

I had the old M3 4 door for 9 years and I drove it to work daily. 150 000 km. 99 percent of the people underestimated the car, and that's good. You want to live happily? Live in understatement.And by the way: my wife loved the car even more. My neighbor loved to be woken up by the gorgeous sound of a cold V8 engine. This sound that today the manufacturers try to simulate by acoustics.

The ugliest grill in the world. BMW is loosing its touch when it comes to to terms of design.

I actually think that from the side, the M3 looks better as front and rear are better balanced. On the M4, the rear looks too big compared to the front part (side look). Grill doesn’t bother me.

The road is so narrow especially from an American perspective.

The grill again. I honestly don't like it as such but not because of the size, it's because it looks like beaver teeth. That can be solved by painting the middle bar black. On a black car it doesn't bother me at all and when the car has a different colour with the bar painted black it looks rather good.

I think they switched to the ZF gearbox because the previous M4 with DCT people were struggling when the gear changes were to snappy mid corner and even straight, with driving aids off.

Stil beautiful the old one design.. it is cold
