Moving CUBASE User Settings to a New Computer? Here's how I did it

Thanks. This helps a bit for a beginning process to prep me for a fresh install of Windows 10/Cubase 12. I need to move and backup everything Cubase to another drive away from my current OS drive. Just getting my steps in order, so this video helps.

Great timing of this video, Chris. I am just about to purchase a new Music PC and this will help make life a little easier. It's just a shame that the plugins can't be done this way. That is going to be a long, drawn-out affair, lol.

Chris! Thank you so much! I am about to switch over from a laptop to a PC AND upgrade from Cubase 11 elements to Cubase 12 Pro (all at the same time lol). This certainly will (hopefully) help with control surface settings, etc. Thank you so very much!

This is really good information. My wife has her own setup of Cubase and the Profile Manager comes in handy when I have to help her out. I also use backup software that performs a daily backup of my projects and Cubase settings to an external drive.

Nice tip! I will keep this in mind when I need to reinstall Cubase on my desktop pc.
I have another question: on the eq section of the channel strip there are three parts that go from black to grey. Why is this? Care to share a light on this in a new video?

Hey Chris,really enjoy videos of this nature as reading through the manual is very time consuming!!I just moved my cubase 10 pro to a new laptop,1 problem i have is groove agent is making me search for all of my custom made drum presets/samples(the audio of what i made the samples from)do you know anything about this or have experienced this yourself?

Anyone know of a way to save a list of installed plugins without manually going through and writing them all down?

This is an absolute life-saver video, Chris!! I have to send my computer in for repair, and I'm unsure what will be lost in that process. This vid allowed me to save as much as I could to another drive, so I'm not so panicky! Oh thank you!

In the case of Native Instruments, can't you just download from Native Access straight to the new computer ?
