I spent a few days in Kuala Lumpur dealing with a visa. I just didn't enjoy the city. It didn't seem to have any stand out soul or vibe. Just a great big, bland city.
Maybe I got unlucky and just missed the right areas but I left having felt nothing special at all about the place.
Most of Bangladesh and rohingya there are actually illegal immigrants and with their bad behavior it makes Malaysia looks bad
Ответитьyou're welcome, please visit us again🤩
ОтветитьThe first part of the video you are walking at the back alley of the restaurant street which tends to be dirty and no one walks there (where restaurants take out the trash etc) the main streets are mainly clean
ОтветитьJohor state is the cleanest state in Malaysia bcos of our Johor king.
ОтветитьI am surprised by the amount of western people who just think the world is just villages deserts and jungles outside of their countries......
ОтветитьCome to Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, enjoy our "Laksa, Mee Kolo, Kek Lapis n etc2" 👍
ОтветитьMalacca and Penang are not bad too.. quite happening
ОтветитьHello,
Great video !
Do you know a SIM CARD in Malasya that also works in Singapore ?
Even with just data ?
Thank you very much for your help.
Actually mate, you can get alcohol in a lot of places, believe me. No problems at all. And I’m from London by the way.
ОтветитьThe reason why they have all the pubs in one street is really because it makes commercial sense and convenience for its customers to be able to enjoy the atmosphere with friends and just one place where there are several pubs of various ambience. It’s not at all about it being a Muslim country and definitely not alcohol being served in just a few places like these pubs.
ОтветитьIn every big city around the globe, no matter how good they try to market it...there is always a darkside...always...and its you to unveil those
ОтветитьFeel free to revisit Malaysia again. I assume that there are plenty of nice places which you haven’t been visit yet.
ОтветитьDont go to pajeet area. You will got mug. Theyre the N word of this country
ОтветитьPeople often associate or compare capital cities but they rarely compare the suburbs of the capital cities . Pro tips , most Malaysians hate to live in KL , packed , hot , full With tourists . KL is just a place to work for most people . I live in Subang jaya in the district of Petaling jaya ( often referred as PJ ) and its miles better .
ОтветитьWhat you ate at the mall was cooked in rendang curry style. A complex potpourri of curry, coconut and spices. Food is Malaysia’s best offering.…if you are adventurous, it’s heaven. If you are a picky eater… you will miss out.
ОтветитьBe blessed .
ОтветитьThe Merdeka Tower is that building with the "finger" like thingy sticking out! 😅
ОтветитьAs a Malaysian, I'll say that Kuala Lumpur is sort of a Cliff Notes summary of Malaysia. It's the natural starting point for anyone coming into Malaysia, but if you get a chance, go out of town and visit places like Malacca, Alor Setar, Ipoh, Kuching or Penang. You'll appreciate the change of scenery, and if you thought the food in KL was already great, you'll be in for a treat visiting these other cities.
ОтветитьGreater Kuala Lumpur (Klang Valley) is bigger than Singapore
ОтветитьI love KL too.
ОтветитьUnlike Thailand and Cambodia, Malaysia has the feel of a European city partially because of its colonial heritage from the British, like Singapore. This is also reflected through the country's legal system, education system, political system etc.
Dutch and Portuguese influence can also be seen in Malacca.
If you think that KL is beautiful, then you have yet to visit the city of Kuantan Pahang which is known for its beaches and peaceful atmosphere to live in.
Ответитьis that bangladesh or india country ?🌚
ОтветитьVisit Kuching, Sarawak, east Malaysia. Try mee Kolok, laksa Sarawak, Umai.
ОтветитьWelcome you to come back to Malaysia again. There are other parts of Malaysia that may give u different vibes, e.g. Penang, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Melaka, etc. From reknown tropical islands Pulau Redang, Pulau Tioman, Pulau Sipadan, to million years old Mulu caves in Borneo, to food heaven Penang island etc. Much more to explore
ОтветитьThanks for this. I'm moving from London to Da Nang but going Kuala Lumpur for few days first.. I have a feeling I may want to stay in Malaysia!
ОтветитьNice. Stay a couple of more days and give us more of it
ОтветитьTravel a bit more in KL, you will see the rats and slums and dirt. Bangsar, Bukit Bintang and KLCC is built for the western tourists and the rich Arabs who walk around thinking they own the right of way. As someone of Indian ancestry returning to my place of birth, I experience the racism and second or even third class treatment by the Muslim majority and the Chinese who think they are the whites of Malaysia. The only good part of Malaysia is the food. The traffic is horrendous. The air quality is bad.
ОтветитьTry Ramly Burger. The best burger in Malaysia if not in the world. Need to eat messy to get the best experience.
ОтветитьWelcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾
Besides the western city feel. You should try coming to Malacca (Melaka) just less than 2 hours away towards the south of KL. Malacca is more rich with cultures, foods and European structures left from the colonial eras. Stay safe and have fun buddy 😊
Unlike England Malaysia is not a 3rd world country!
ОтветитьHappy trails and safe journeys.
Ответитьmalaysia full foreigner ... less malaysian people here
Ответитьtake note DBKL
ОтветитьWhy not live there, Josh?
I chose Malaysia over Thailand 3 years ago and haven't regretted my decision one moment.
Good bro
ОтветитьSLOW DOWN the side to side camera movement! Especially indoors, in the mall. It makes the viewer dizzy like seasick.
ОтветитьAhh Malaysia, where being gay is illegal but go ahead and marry your 10 year old niece.
ОтветитьDont visit Petaling Street. Its a tourist trap
ОтветитьMalaysia is visit South East Asia 101. Malaysia is Family Oriented and thus underrated. Go to party in Thailand. We have parties and night life. But have serious fun in Thailand and leave the kids with us to Babysit . Go for extremes in Vietnam, and Chill in Kuala Lumpur. Nobody harasses you to buy in our Markets. We have 179 Malls in Klang Valley where KL is, we love our aircon, and Food Courts in Malls are decent don't discount them in your travels. Do visit Penang for food, Ipoh underated and hit Langkawi and the East Coast Islands. We speak English too!
ОтветитьProbably a naive question but where do you believe the women are the most social out of Thai, Malay, cambo or Viet?
ОтветитьTotally wrong about the comments about why there is a bar street, it is for commercial reasons. Drink is easily available everywhere apart fron NE Malaysia.
ОтветитьHi Josh. Take a flight from KL and visit Sarawak or Sabah on the island of Borneo. Fly to Kuching or Kota Kinabalu and experience the diversity of Malaysia. Yes, we do speak English here too even in remote villages since we were once a British colony and after joining Malaysia, we still learn English as a second language in schools.
Ответитьworker from bangladesh, indonesia
ОтветитьU are suprised bcos u obviously haven't visited muslim countries and still have the western prejudices
ОтветитьI am Malaysian I hope the government reserves some historical building.
ОтветитьMalaysian could have keep their street cleaner
ОтветитьDoes my international drivers permit allow me to rent scooter and drive around KL? Or must I stick to cars, as the permit says?
ОтветитьThose are tourist trap areas..they sell very expensive items compared to other local stalls..go for night markets cuz they usually sell cheaper stuff compared to those "permanent market".
Ответить
