Blessed to have 1 mower 😂. Great vid very helpful thank you. I just bought the fusions right before I watched this. Awesome shirt!
ОтветитьI agree with your husband. The fusion 165 is what I use, they group best and crush whitetail and mule deer.
ОтветитьI’ve never used Norma ammo in .308 but I’ve always had tight groups in .223 Norma ammo
ОтветитьFor whatever reason my Mossburg Patriot in 308 likes the core loct 180 gr.
Keep em coming.
I am not sure if you did or not, but you need to swab/clean the barrel and let it cool down between sets to be a fair assessment.
ОтветитьJust bought a Bergara Wilderness Hunter in 308 and plan on trying some of the ammo that your CVA Cascade liked, to see how my Bergara does with them. I enjoyed your ammo tests Part 1-4.
Ответить165gn Fusions work excellent in my 308 the super x 180s group better in my rifle then the 150s do. All still effective and deadly for me. My go to is the Fusions though 4 shots 4 downed bucks in 4 season few does tags filled with fusions as well 1 shot everytime. My buddy has the exact same rifle and his throws fusions all over the board. So it's all about finding what works best for you. Love the video thanks for posting
ОтветитьI've tested the same 308's you did, and guess which one was the best?
Norma, all 3 shot holes were touching out of a 18" Ruger American Predator
Notice each time you test the first group is the worst and gets tighter as you keep shooting?
ОтветитьI've bought way to much expensive ammo this summer looking for the one my .308 likes. Nosler, 3 Hornady flavors, Winchester. Nothing good was happening. Frustration landed on a box of Rem core lokt 150 gn. Figured, wth, what have I got to lose. Wouldn't ya know it! The cheapest ammo on the shelf shoots like it was born in my rifle! Gods honest truth, 3/4 MOA all day long. With core lokt! Rifles are funny animals
ОтветитьGreat & simple video! I can’t wait to test different ammo in my AR10 I got for deer season!😁
ОтветитьLove my Normas! Never heard of them until Covid, bought during a shortage, and my ar10 loved em. First 2 went through the same hole at 100.
ОтветитьAll those shots were meat in the freezer. I use the 308 Win for most of my hunting, and the 300 win Mag for longer distances. Cannot go wrong with either one. Great video.
ОтветитьMy 308 loves the 165 fusion. They crush deer
ОтветитьJust bought a 308 Cascade with all your testing what would you recommend for 100/150 yards Thank you
ОтветитьThe ammo test are a favorite of mine thanks so much
ОтветитьMy kinber and Parker Hale loves 150 Hornady SST 45.4 Varget awesome
ОтветитьBet it shoots 168 gr alot better. Not a cva owner but my sauer is sub moa with black hills 168 barnes tsx
Ответитьnice!
ОтветитьThanks.
ОтветитьI recommend you put a level on your scope
Ответитьholy snapping dog shit good video buts they were some of the sloppiest trigger pulls I've seen in a lot time
ОтветитьAll Shot Overall good, Norma , very good. Thanks for doing a FACTORY AMMO TEST, And... thats a accurate Rifle.
ОтветитьThe Fusion have worked for me. I use them in a heavy barele Savage 110 Law enforcement rifle with H&S persision stock.
ОтветитьI vote Winchester PP 180, cuz that’s what I got
ОтветитьWhats ur barrel twist rate?
ОтветитьI want this rifle. But cant locate one
ОтветитьBest 308 ammo test
ОтветитьI thought you were about to say “Like my friends from high school, same hole”
ОтветитьNorma just click it up just a bit
ОтветитьLet's keep in mind that's with her rifle. Your mileage may vary.
ОтветитьMy Tikka 270 loves the fusion, power shok, Norma and Winchester power point. The best thing is i dont have to do any scope adjustment .
I've heard good things about your CVA.Looks like a really nice piece at a affordable price point.
The fusion are good bullets. The weight is better.
ОтветитьNeed some 168gr Eld-m or A-max.
ОтветитьCascade is ok rifle. I shoot a weatherby vanguard weather guard bronze 308. It will shoot 5/8 "3 shot groups with federal terminal accent 175gr Bonded. There the best bullet I've ever used . I tried em all on deer. The terminal accent are slayers. And dependable ❤❤❤
Ответитьmy 308 (7.62x51) is ither 150gr /180gr
ОтветитьI regularly spend time at the range shooting multiple rifles. Has anyone else noticed that old cup and core bullets shot better than any brand of Cooper bullets.
ОтветитьI shoot 150 grn out my 4 308s 3 shoot everything I put threw them great Hornady & Remington core lock is my favorite never cared for federal 308
ОтветитьIve watched all part of this serie! Really interesting but I dont understand why you dont have a sub MOA group.
ОтветитьHow many grain?
ОтветитьNorma looks like the best one.
Ответить4 clicks right...
ОтветитьYT just showed me this. This is a year old now. So did you hunt with the Norma during the year and how was it?
ОтветитьGood 4 part video series. Wonderful to see more women hunting and participating in the shooting sports with role models like many time Olympic champion Kimberly Rhode.
Ответить2 dead hogs with 1 shot each last year using Federal Power Shok 150 gr. in Tennessee
ОтветитьShooting here in Western Kentucky is usually inside of 100yds,,been shooting the Winchester power point for 30yrs !!!,,nothing fancy, but deer don't go far ,,thanks for the video 👍✌✌
ОтветитьI love norma. I don't know how much time you took between shots and the different groups themselves but I always like to shoot a hunting rifle cold barrel. As the barrel temperature rises, your groups will open up. If you didn't wait long between those several groups, they may actually shoot tighter with a cold bore. Still a great video. Thank you
ОтветитьGood data. Norma looks like a winner.
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you🙂🙂👍👍+
