This line is very strong and stretches great when setting the hook or fighting and bringing in the big fish. For the value of the line which isn’t much this is the right line for you if you want to save money and catch fish.

As FG knot believers, it’s hard to convert to another knot, i was looking for strong and smooth knot through guide for second option casting.

That is a long time to tie a knot. I stick with the one i use. Carefully melt a little knob on the end of fluoro and tie the braided line on to it with a uni knot. It has never failed on me and goes easily through the rod holes.

This doesn't work. the flouro just slips off the wrap immediately.

I used FG for years. Switched to Modified Albright knot. It’s the best imo.

If I were you, I'd tie it off with a half-hitch that contains 3-4 loops and that makes a "ramp" in front of the piece of flouro and covers it.
Reason why is that in light tackle (Carp, Tilapia and Bass), a knot with a bare mono/flouro point will damage your guides AND messes up the spool, cause the line clips on it when it's in the spool, which is h3lla annoying whenever you need to reel, in addition to damaging your line.

Nice looking knot...sure takes time from fishing to tie that one if you break off.. . I'll stick to what has worked for me for years without any issues for monster snook and reds. Might use it on some Tarpon setups since I take 6 rods on those days

I can tie a FG knot in a minite and a half it took you 4 and a half minites so how is that FASTER??????? lol and it's still not as strong as the FG knot
