I know a trick on how to get ur budgie back into its cage if its not tamed .
First hold the cage up where its feet are
Second lift the cage up higher if it doesnt come on rhe top
Third put the cage down and open the door
Fourth let ur budgie find the door
Fith if it doesnt find the door put ur hand on the other side of the cage door

I have 2 budgies 1 site on my hand but usually bites when he does but the first time I got my budgie my dad cut its wings nails and it was bleeding and we kept dropping the perches with the budgies on them 😢

Fair warning for the blowing out seeds hack, make sure you have the seeds very far from your face. Or you’ll end up like me with a husk flying into your eye and cutting your cornea. These are great hacks but if you value your eye sight please don’t do this one

Oh clever with the pellet dust and water❤ I have a very stubborn budgie which makes pellet conversion difficult. I built him a home made seed and nut mix he likes but pellets are a no, so far. He also doesn't like fresh food...still working on that...He gives me a look, as if to say...Organic, I don't eat organic!🐤😄👍

I found a adult female budgie TODAY MORNING in my kitchen🤦🏻‍♀️...so i got a medium sized cage and gave water,cooked white rice and a tree branch in the cage....I hope we become good friends 🥺

Blowing away husk seeds is a bad idea. Think of all the bacteria and germs you are blowing directly onto the food?

Blowing the husk seeds are bad bc some saliva can fly out your mouth whilst blowing, saliva is toxic, I'm not risking it

Hi is it ok to use a leash because im about to get a budgie and im kinda nervous if in thre beginning he will fly off (inside) .i have found everything he needs including a large cage because its wrong to keep budgie in such small cages! I have dine a lot of research about it

Hahah yes i did today i cleaned cage with my old brush😅

Instead of making your own fruit and veggie mixes, you can buy freeze dried mixes for parrots. Freeze dried stuff retains 97% of the nutrients but I think u can just add in a bit more to make up for the difference. They can also be served in many ways. This may be more expensive than mamking your own, so this hack is to save some time instead of money

I recommend you getting omlet feeder that has a cage optional which removes the husk after your bird it’s the inside

One trick I use if they get out of their cage is I will move the cage to where they keep flying to and then I will sit behind it and wait for them to go in
