The foot length and heel size set me at 3,5 inch heels. I knew my feet were small, but dang xD But funnily enough, i hurt less in 4-5 inch heels than i do in the tiny 1 inch heels. I can clobber around in the 4 inch glam heels all day, but use 1 inch heels and im dead after an hour.
But it could be due to my way of walking. My heels take the majority of my weight so i have to compensate the weight distribution more to the front while in heels to avoid too much being on the heel.

It's not true in the case of platform heels.. cuz I'm also 5'2" and I have two pairs of thick but stylish platform heels.. and believe me.. they are so comfortable..

I tried gel insoles but found that they reduced the amount of room inside the shoe and caused the shoe to rub against my toes quite badly. I suppose they'd be fine with sandals, but not for closed in shoes.

I still haven't find perfect fitting heels, the smallest size is waay too big, always have to wear additional insoles, behind the heel thing (I don't know what it's called 😅) and it's STILL too big. So uncomfortable even after one hour... I got one pair that in fingers area is too tight, but in length is too long 😪 I don't understand why they don't make even smaller sizes, so we don't have to use all those insoles etc!!

I must say I'm bit confused because you kind of say opposite statements in the video. The bigger length of the slope the more comfortable heels are, but then later you said if heel starts from the very end of the shoes (which would mean bigger slope length), the less comfortable heels are.

A lot of heels are designed in a rather weird way that it doesn't align with the arch, they look stunning but i immediately feel like they'd hurt more. Seeing your explanation confirmed that my guess had been right

I think it's more about the arch support than the length of the slope, if it has adequate arch support than your weight is more evenly distributed instead of sitting entirely on the ball of the foot

I know what to do about the pain. Stop wearing those stupid instruments of torture. There’s no reason to wear them unless your job is fulfilling male fantasies.

I think material is also very important. Soft leather is waaays more comfortable than hard plastic. Having full support and not feeling like your toes are getting crushed is also a major thing. What a lot of people don’t realize or want to admit it weight matters. I’ve put on a little over 20 kg because of health and lifestyle problems and noticed a huge difference, couldn’t walk for a long time in heels. Losing most of that weight made it easier, especially on my toes that are already pretty sensitive and crippled.

sigh I wish I knew this before I went to a wedding. Bought a new 4inch hurted like hell. I thought my feet wasn't used to it, so I forced it on. I was kind of on baby sitting duty for a while, right and then when I lift up my baby cousin, my feet just felt like on the verge of collapse. I quickly and gentle put him down and removed my shoes. Good thing I brought a pair of sneakers. It didn't match my dress, but I was at least comfortable all day.

The best pair of high heel boots I have ever owned are from Nine West. I have worn them for a 40hr work week and was fine. I took a look at them and they have the position and heel height that matches my foot. This is so cool. I never knew why they felt so comfy.
