There’s a lot of time related plot holes in these movies but idc I love this trilogy

If Clara originally died in the canyon then she wouldn’t exist to meet Doc and be on his tombstone.

If Doc died in 1885 then he wouldn’t be alive to read his own tombstone in 1955.

Also: Marty didn't need to go back to 1855, because that was in 1955 Doc's future, so he already knew what was going to happen and could have prevented it.

There should be two DeLoreans in 1885 once Marty goes back.

So if they "saved" Claira now but she was suppose to die ( hence the river being named after her). How was she alive to not only bury doc, but also give him a detailed headstone and be his beloved Claira. Remember marty wasn't there ( the picture in the archives showed doc was standing by himself in front of the clock).

Doc has the note he will be killed on 1985. Then he knows he will be killed in 1885. I would be paranoid at this point .

Still one of the best movies from the best trilogies ever made… thank God modern Hollyweird hasn’t gotten their sleazy hands on the franchise yet. Keep your hands off, Hollyweird. We won’t go see any garbage remakes or reboots.

You missed when Marty spit out buckshot that the rabbits were shot with and all that was on his plate was a biscuit.

Paradox: After old (2015) Biff traveled to 1955 and gave young Biff the almanac Marty and Doc cannot travel to the 1985 that Biff made: They no longer exist. Doc goes to an asylum and the DeLorean time machine is never created. This negates both the initial accidental trip to 1955 and all subsequent time travel. This includes old Biff's trip from 2015.

One thing I don't understand is how did Doc and Clara have a romantic relationship if Marty never went back to 1885. Clara was supposed to die before even coming to Hill Valley if Marty didn't come back.

How did she know they were going to be there? Did she just ride around hoping? No, she saw the scale model in Doc's barn and followed the railway line.

Maybe the excessively descriptive epitaph on Doc’s tombstone is intentional! We later find out that ‘the last guy Buford shot with his derringer took 2 whole days to die’, which is why Doc says “…you’re early.”. Doc had time to decide what was on his tombstone and would have made it as clear as possible and his name in big block letters so that when Marty and Doc go back for the DeLorean, they might see this message from the past! The letter was already written and sent stating that Doc was happy in the past; this was his last ditch effort, on his deathbed, to get a message to himself and Marty back in 1955. He knew where they would be since they would be going to the mine for the time machine. But it wasn’t Doc or Marty, it was Copernicus that found him and the message =]

If you Think about it, doc was alive and well in 1985, Meaning nothing happened to him in the 30 years leading up to 1985. So If Marty had just gone straight back 1985 doc would be there with memories of Marty from 30 years earlier. So nothing would have changed but then we wouldn't have a 3rd movie so whatever I guess.

This is an adventure movie, not documenatary.... Same with "Indiana Jones" and "Star Wars".... If u want to make this again, try "Saving Private Ryan" and "Pearl Harbour"..... Mistakes on these two movies are for historian interested very good....

I gotta sin one of your sins, the train tracks where the Delorean is sitting is a stretch that isn't being used yet, the bridge isn't completed, that is why Marty has to throw the switch track after they get the locomotive, that makes it turn onto the section where the Delorean is sitting.

I love everything about all the BTTF movies. I love that they repeat, i love that they are the same but different, i love that all the characters are played by the same people. These are perfect movies and since i list watched this 5 months ago i have probably watched all 3 10-15 times each, usually i start at 1 and let them play through, i do that on my cat date nights. You really don't sin them too hard but i think they are perfect. I notice more flaws than most people i'm sure, things that don't make sense, but they are simply the best movies i've ever watched.

May have been mentioned before but I always felt this entire movie shouldn't have existed after they found out they were out of fuel. Doc could build a time machine with some style, but he couldn't get some crude oil and distill it into gasoline? Really? Patch the fuel line, make some gasoline, problem solved.

This channel just slays my willingness to disbelieve.
