I always buy with melt value in mind, also, when it comes to selling. This can be tricky depending on the coin, certain places don't like milk spots. I stay away from numismatic coins, a one ounce silver coin is only worth its melt value. I love numismatic coins, buy I stay away from them. I do like junk silver, I need to purchase more to my stacking. My favorite is 100oz bars...........

These two fellas got my mind pointed in the right direction.... 55 lol ya poor baby. Im halfway into my 65th year only thru the grace of God. My choice thus far is to be bars, rounds and a lil junk. I got just under 100 bucks worth of one Maple leaf, some generic style round and two Eisenhower dollars. I sprang for one Brittania, such a lovely lady. My lcs wants 5 over face, gonna start with dimes. Love both you boys, together and solo, im here for the duration. God bless

I got a 10oz Asahi 10oz bar! Far better than the rounds.
Yeah, it's so sexy.
Lol.
I have some 83.5% Francs & 90% German Marks & 90% US/Philippines Peso & 75% US/Philippines Fifty Centavos. I remember their percentage. Yes, hard to sell. Anyone want mine? Silver is silver, lol.
Had to put this out there:
Also the year for constitutional silver!

America never minted a "penny" we mint cents. As in one percent of a dollar. Who says we don't use the metric system?

My list is short and sweet. Whatever is the better deal. ASE for the deep stack, Maples for purity, Libs for the resale premium, and Buffalo Rounds because it’s easy for my heart to part with these..... and for my secret pleasure, the 2oz Kraken hehe

I buy kilos silver as the spot is beautiful wired, I’ll stop at 1kozt, 1/10 of the way, don’t forget to invest in gold/platinum/palladium! I’m 35 years old and have more than my house worth in precious metals in a few deposit boxes. It can be done if you hold a firm Budget! It’s not for us but our children!

I wish you would have explained the importance of the spread between what you buy it for and what you sell it for, because that's more important than simply the purchase price.

Anyone with any faith in the Word of God of the bible, needs to examine this passage in the King James Version and believe in its meaning:
They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity. Ezekiel 7:19 KJV
Interpretation of the above verse tells us, we go back to silver and gold, as our reserve currency becomes unacceptable to the world after hyper inflation; however, international governments accept only gold for payments for necessities, such as coal, steel, oil, etc. Therefore, the gold must be removed by recall by governments from its people; yet, the remaining silver will not buy food, from the empty store shelves;
so, the people throw it down in the streets in protest, as chaos and violence breaks out, as the people begin starvation, causing pestilence to rise during this time of tribulation!

My preference in 2021 has been, so far, LCS is junk and 40%. On line PCGS and NGC certified eagles proofs and high grade uncirculated. Very few generic brands.

@Sliver Dragons Would slightly used Canadian 9999 silver coins random years be the best option for a new stacker like myself?
Edit: The Asahi rounds ( really love the design) and Canadian are roughly the same spot.

American Silver Eagles are still the best silver to stack.
ASE 1oz mint coins are known PLANET wide.
Bars, Rounds and JUNK do not work well when needing money.
A nation must have only 1 currency of equal value and equal divisible units. ASE are still number 1.
