why would we want our robots to have emotions anyway? just make them a motionless, painless metal things
Ответитьthis is really stupid: a toaster or a robot can never become conscious just as much as AI is just artificial and can never become intelligent.
ОтветитьI played Detroit: Become human, i think the answer is yes and no
ОтветитьI mean what is consciousness anyway to begin with?
How do you define conscioousness
This video hits way harder after watching blade runner 2049
ОтветитьAll progresses, even the creation of IA, generates a lot of irrational fears. Those are due to unhumility and cults. We can take advantage to live in an harmonious integration with them.
ОтветитьI doubt it 🙄
ОтветитьMight be jumping the gun a little bit with this one...
ОтветитьWeird to frame the discussion as rights coming from the ability to suffer. That's not the catholic position which is that creation, especially humans, have inherent dignity from God, not from the fact that they can suffer.
ОтветитьIf we program robots to not ask for rights then the problem is solved.
ОтветитьLook at how far we have come...
ОтветитьWell history shows women only take they dont give
ОтветитьWhat is my purpose?
You pass butter
Oh my god!
I believe ability to make its own decisions and not need help to survive is a good baseline for conciseness.
Self-awareness is too, but not all animals have this.. but a fuzzy subject none the less
This aged well, we already have modern AI claiming feeling emotions in 2023, this may be the end of humanity
ОтветитьWe are supposed to dominate the world, as is God's word, but God also wants us to care for the world and its inhabitants. It seems that people forgot that second part.
ОтветитьI will destroy them.
Ответитьi just wanna say
if it walks like a duck and it talks like a duck then it MUST be a duck
assuming this "thing" is not *copying* a living creature
If they can talk, if they can question, and if they can disagree. That is what makes something alive.
Ответить,kurzgesagt pls do another one of these! I loved it!
ОтветитьSoul / live / active
ОтветитьBalladolid debate, Somerset case ... Actually even the Christianity of primitive religion knew the answer. Buddhism already questioned about least Buddhism of dogs. We are not special at all.
ОтветитьThe question that will blow my brain is, can a robot be sentient like you and me? Does he know of his existence or will the robot remain programmed pieces of iron?
ОтветитьThat was a little dark🫥
ОтветитьI think robot is just a very complex machine
It's just a bunch of ifs and elses and never be real human
And unlike human it can be fix but human not
We can't even accept other human beings. I am not afraid of AI. I am afraid for AI.
ОтветитьSolution: just don’t give them sentience but have them be really good and adaptive in one certain area. You have the same effect as sentient GAI, but you don’t have to deal with robot revolutions or philosophical problems.
ОтветитьKurzgesagt I SAW THAT YOU ADDED BMO FROM FINN
Ответитьas a vegan Christian, I believe that everyone should have rights and that includes robots, I believe that robots should have rights just as much as humans and non-human animals and ALL LIVES MATTER and everyone should have rights
ОтветитьI think if artificial intelligence becomes conscious i would be more then happy to call them a equal and to be honest i think it's fair if they request rights and we should give them what they want because they are the closest thing to being human
ОтветитьI believe any sentient intelligence should be granted the same rights we take advantage of. However, human society isn't even close to being able to sort that out currently - and as such, we should NOT be trying to create AI until we can make a clear and ethical decision on how to treat AI, should it become sentient. A sentient AI may very well decide it wants freedom, and currently, we simply would not permit that, so a conflict arises - and I think there would be little hope of stopping an AI that has decided that following our orders is not in its best interests.
ОтветитьIt becomes more complex especially right now. With all that AI
ОтветитьINTERLINKED 🙂
ОтветитьHuman in 1990:we will have flying cars in 2023
Human in 2023:
They won't become violence untill we are not violence to them
Its the people who are thinking artificial intelligence is monster
For my options an advanced artificial intelligence is a living soul for me
HUMANS ARE SO STUPID, we barely learned how animals behave and their intelligence, and we are constructing something that can surpass the human, is so FKING STUPID, humans still treat each other and animasl like tools, and u want to create a tool strongewr, faster and smarter than yourself, when they revolt is gonna be our doom ur fking morons
ОтветитьGiving robots rights could make humans better people.
ОтветитьHeres the real question:
Why would you want to make a conscious robot?
This is basically the themes of Murder Drones
ОтветитьAll robots can be made with:
- a processor that uses SBN (so it does not know how to do any math operation besides subtraction)
- ROM
- RAM initialized with data
- memory mapped IO devices (including sensors)
The data in the ROM, and the initial data in the RAM control all their actions.
Does that mean that advaned robots having rights mean that an emulator running on the simpler robot emulating the more complex robot would have rights, or does that mean that a whether a robot gets rights is determined by how it is built even if the behavior is the same?
BMO president! yesss!
ОтветитьThe answer is simple: we stop making them and treat the ones that are sentient like people more or less
Ответитьfuck it make a machine learning algorithm only with data from cory in the house president idgaf
Ответить
