I'm not Ukrainian but I'm appalled by how much Allied experts seem to have underestimated the learning ability of Ukrainian soldiers. They are intelligent, highly motivated, and often well-educated. They want to learn their job because they want to end the war and bring about peace. That is easy to understand.

Worth mentioning that the swedish Leopard is redesigned to be simple to use because of our short conscription times. That came to well use here. You don't get 18 months of training on it, 7,5 months for privates, 10 months for group commanders and 15 months for platoon commanders (back in the day at least) and that includes normal soldier training. Maybe the youth of today need 18 months to learn but we did it in like 2 months :) Perfecting it is another story though.
