Love your clips men so much info
Ответитьlol Neukin, fuck that guy. Fucking scammer.
ОтветитьHi I just had my H23A converted to coil on plus, do I have to do the same procedure or is it different?
ОтветитьDid you make the video for the top part my doesn't have the bottom cover my luck
Ответитьthank you very much
Ответитьmechanical timing off a tooth?
ОтветитьAre these steps the same using an ati race damper
Ответитьif you modify the base timing setting in the ECU, would i need to get it remapped again or is it a case of entering the new value?
ОтветитьWhat timing light you are using brand and part number
ОтветитьReally helpful video, these guys are first rate. Timed my D16 today and HTS also has ignition lock. Y7 block and head stock valvetrain and 12 BTDC has the distributor all the way towards the firewall. I did have the block decked and head milled. There's alot of debate about using the OBD1 camgear on the Y series when running an OBD1 ECU. I just set base timing at 12 and send it. Any other corrections can be made in the ignition map since the mechanical timing is correct for the engine at least that's my philosophy on it .
ОтветитьGood video. In the s300, you should be able to just sync the base timing to 14 deg, then compensate from there in the ignition map.
ОтветитьStupid question, but if i have 16 degrees in hondata, do i set my timing light to 16 degrees too, or match it with timing light beeing at 0 degrees?
ОтветитьDont be afraid to take a drill bit to the dizzy slots so it can slide 2 more degrees. Some are cut short. Some its in the sensors
ОтветитьOn a OBD2 Honda will the stock OBD2 distributor work with a OBD1 ecu ? Will the timing have to be adjusted to 16 degrees?
ОтветитьSolid! -Thank You.
ОтветитьSince the motor is at 14°...can't you put the setting on the hondata at 14° so they can match?
ОтветитьSo crank mark and cams gear mark have to line up with the timing light at same time I check my car b20z block b16 head I line up crank with the light but the cams it's off what I can do or this it's normal?
Ответитьi got a b18c1 high compresion 13.0 i wil get it in to the car this month so i can set the timing to 16
Ответить🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
👊😎
What timing gun are you using in this video
ОтветитьDo modern cars with no distributed have a way to adjust timing ? Or is it all digitally performed with ecu tuning? If so , is that beneficial?
ОтветитьYup he could trim the dizzy and be good, but why not just charge the customer
ОтветитьCan you be better explain the process? When using the crank pulley you can set the timing light to 0 degrees and the tdc mark should align with the timing cover. You then set your timing light to 16 for example and them move the distributor until you align the tdc line again. You are then 16 degrees past tdc. How does this process work when using the cams as a reference?
ОтветитьYou guys dont have any info on k pro
ОтветитьIs it worth it to tune your car for MPG ? Is that even a thing ?
ОтветитьI paid 30$ for a basemap from HA motorsport and uploaded it Bc I added bigger injectors and now my car is like sputtering at idle. What would cause that? And how can I get it drive able to make it to the dyno.
ОтветитьDoes this apply to Kpro?
ОтветитьWell said!!! Do a k series chassis next!!
ОтветитьBUT FIRST. Make sure to short the clip by the passenger side under the dash. If you don't do that, you are fighting the ECU as you try to adjust timing and you will never get it right. Shorting that clip removes the ECU from the equation and you can set the correct timing w/o the ECU trying to re-adjust every time you move the distributor.
ОтветитьWhy when you put timing gun on pulley it was 10 degrees and on cam gears 4 degree . That where I got lost but I understand the rest was the dizzy slightly moved in between when you checked the pully and cam gears after. You have to get a timing light that tells the degree to see if timing might be slightly like in this case by two degree. I have a timing gun with no digital info on degrees just a light bulb flashing
Ответить🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
ОтветитьIf you have bigger cams like pro 1's do you get the idle corrected first then set ignition timing or the other way around?
ОтветитьOk so what if you set ignition timing at 16° on stock ecu then get a chipped ecu and recheck ignition timing and it's off do you adjust it ????
ОтветитьMaybe to do course or training how to tune in the dyno ? I’m in to learn from you Alex
ОтветитьMan, I can't even hit the 16 degree mark!! On my gsr/b16 head.. its completely retarded!! What could it be!!
ОтветитьGood video, I can't stress enough on the importance of base and ignition timing
ОтветитьSo for hondata s300 you don’t need to to jumper the connector by glove box for ignition timing like stock ecu .
ОтветитьI really love your videos I watch them all the time. You guy have help me so much. Keep posting information videos like this one please. You will get mi like every single time. 👍👨🔧
ОтветитьSo in regards to timing a D16Y8 with S300, would you simply sync it to 12* instead of 16* using the same procedure?
ОтветитьI can learn in thailand.
ОтветитьOk so let me get this striaght..if i lock ignition at 16.5 on laptop, and timing gun on cam gears line them up tdc i am synced?? I dont have any buttons on my timing gun.
Ответитьdo you e-tune?
Ответитьi was able to time my all motor gsr build perfectly to 16 degrees by watching this. Thanks Alex
Ответитьwhats all that distraction in tha back ???????????????insructions and distractions AWESOME......
ОтветитьI have a random code but it doesn’t show up. Its a s300 v3 in a p75 . :/ knock sensor is off, any other sensors That the obd2 has that the obd1 ecu cant find so throws phantom code?
ОтветитьWhat marks is he talking about lining up? When hes shining that light
ОтветитьGreat knowledge and info.
ОтветитьNice
Ответить. hubble i need some help What section to change from rising to falling edge ignitor as my car is equipped with a falling type and not the oem honda which is rising type.
ОтветитьDo i still need to jump thw service connector with hondata?
Ответить
