I did shut down my pc while updating and now i have a completly black screen when i start it, in the begging the keyboard and mouse were working but not anymore, how can i fix it?

I hit the switch on my power strip. Been in a loop of black screen loading with no progress for about 24 hours now. Restarting and same thing.

A couple years ago I made the mistake of switching off the power in the room before the computer had finished its update. It did in fact damage many files on my computer and it also caused the complete loss of data on some installed applications. I was so mad at me... and at the computer ;)

My laptop turned off when updating Windows due to lack of power. After that, the background on the lock screen disappeared and the start menu refused to work. After the reboot, the "Please wait" screen passed and everything was fine again.

I restart my pc 100 times cuz update stuck everytime and never complete and my pc nothing happend just normal

Me whant too play worlds frvr on laptop one day and the friking laptop scart me cuz it show blue like what soo i tornt it off and put it on agen and it did a update soo i lookt att it like fore like a long time and then it made it soo i playt worlds frvr soo this is the first time i see a laptop updateing soo it like scart me but now i am ok soo thanks vore telling us all this😅

I turn my PC off all the time during updates in fact I just disable the windows update with regedit and never have to see that bs ever again.

My dad turned it off 5 times tryna fix my pc not knowing it was tryna update

i shuted down my laptop while it was updating and now its updating and after update is stuck on restar screen i cant turn it on

Man i tried any update escape command and any restart escape commands, i tried any of your option and nothing worked, is just stucked on restart!...

the pc all data system32 will be corrupted

i really off my laptop if theres an update, it will undo the changes. its safe to do it. and the reason: MY FU- LAPTOP IS AN ANTI UPDATER

once a time my windows was updating and the lights went off. and after the lights came i checked my computer and saw it not starting several times. after a lot of tries i saw it reverting changes made to my computer and restarting several times. when it finished i saw my pc finally starting but instead of the blue windows 10 normal screen it was purple. i didn't know what's going on but at last i fixed it, i don't remember how because it was a long time ago but i did.

I feel like shutting off a W10 PC during an update practically causes your PC to have a heart attack compared to XP that just brushes it off like a scrape

I hate blank screens motre then the blue screen of death.

I noticed that whenever an update is applied on Windows 10 it will always go to 30%. Then, restart and then continue from 30% to 100%. You would assume during one of those time periods that critical files are being changed for the OS and then "non-critical" ones are changed.

The real shutdown i got started when my pc actually overheated and burned up coz i use it for long hours!!! Sometimes my pc is corrupted because they want to remove/delete something that they dont want to show or Im done with the process... It doesnt really mean they broke it.. I can restore or format back everything for a fresh start again... 😁😁😁

This happened to me and my hard drive still having a hard time. I reinstalled windows - 10 times! - and sometimes when i turn on my laptop it just decides to die or just freeze forever. Some days it works perfectly and some days are just errors after errors and i eventually have to reinstall windows again. (usually every 4 months) Idk what to do. I don't want to change my hard drive bc it's 1 tbyte 😢😅
