Another good way to level up your foraging is finding the mushroom level in the mines and reseting it. It spawn one floor less than the day before down to 81.

Foraging is the hardest skill to max, from lvl 9 to 10 its takes too long for me

Just enter the mine on my new save, on floor 2 or 3 there was a star slime that dropped a wood club

Disagree with the advice to leave the stumps. Yes it's only 1 exp, but if you leave the stump, the tree won't regrow. It will if you cut it all the way down, giving you another tree in the future for more exp.

Wait leveling is something people have an issue with?
I tend to just wing it and by the end of spring I have everything at about 5(disclaimer, this isn't to downplay people that have issues with leveling, I just never realized skills were a difficult thing to level)

I've looked up videos and stuff before for stardew valley but they are old and some of the stuff doesnt work anymore in the game and or there are better ways to do something now. I would totally love it if you did a video starting a new file and what steps to do to get a good solid start in stardew valley! Keep up the good work!

Different crops provide different amounts of xp. Parsnips are 8xp a pop, potatoes are 14xp, there's a whole list in the wiki. You're right in saying quality doesn't matter, but crop does.
