ОтветитьI am a wood worker and your vid was most informative, fast , clear and effective
ОтветитьI love Chuck! The camera loves this guy!
Ответитьover 500 dollars in tools, perfect for someone like me that's trying to get started to see if I'll like it, if I don't like the hobby then it was just chump change so no biggie.
ОтветитьThis guy is an instigator, I love it lol...
ОтветитьId like to see a video on how to set up a leather shop, how you organize.
ОтветитьLike what? So many ideas so many thoughts. Very off-putting. How am I supposed to learn anything. I'm blocking Weaver videos on my journey.
Ответитьanother great video. i added more notes to my leatherworking notes. thank you for all of the great info.
ОтветитьIs this place still open?
Ответитьi feel like i might be a master leather crafter this guy is unreal
ОтветитьYour energy and enthusiasm are wonderful. Thank you for the inspiration. I am just starting out and feel like I can do it.
ОтветитьI love this channel. Thank you for all ya'll do. Great info here.
Ответитьive been binding my old and important books with repurposed leather coats.
ОтветитьLately I've been feeling drawn to start leathercrafting, but too nervous to actually take that first step and jump in. Words cannot express how excited I am to start after watching this! This video was incredibly informative, encouraging, and inspiring to the imagination with much wisdom about both leathercrafting and the artistic process. I particularly love how you expressed that even folks who don't feel like "creative types" have creativity within just waiting to be unleashed, such an important message!
ОтветитьHad him 1.5x speed and I felt like it was still his natural flow cause he's so excitable
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I'm just thinking of possibly trying out leatherworking, to go with my beadworking.. I'm still in research mode.. This is the info I was looking for. .Thanks again
ОтветитьReally great video as they all are. Appreciate all the info you guys put out!
ОтветитьPDF models, can you send???👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
ОтветитьI have a lot of time, have a fairly well developed attention to detail (sometimes bordering on OCD) and want to earn extra money using my hands and creativity, but I wonder if the leatherworking market space is just too populated for someone new to be profitable.
Not knocking chuck, but as he states in the first 12 seconds of the vid, he's a salesman. I'd be interested in hearing from those who actually started leatherworking as a side gig.
What a truly passionate man. I am very excited to start my leatherworking journey
ОтветитьAwesome presentation!
ОтветитьThis guy must have been a former car salesman
ОтветитьIs that a gimp mask in the top right?
ОтветитьAfter this video, I have a renewed appreciation for leather. I will never see leather craft items the same. Informative video -- thank you!
ОтветитьAmazing presentation thank you!
Ответитьdo you take apprenticeships?
ОтветитьThis guy should also take up motivational speaking! This shop is like 2 hour drive from me. I want to drive there and get a picture with this guy! He reminds me of the the Oxy Clean guy.
ОтветитьThis guy's speech pattern reminds me of Mr. Garrison from South Park.
ОтветитьAwesome for a beginner like myself…thank you
ОтветитьGreat information on startup! Thanks so much for your enthusiasm!
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьYou are so great!!♡ I feel like I CAN do it!🥰👍🔥
ОтветитьI love his energy
ОтветитьTake a shot every time he says, "it's going to make perfect sense "
ОтветитьHey how much is your leather and.leather making tools
Ответить💜💜💜
ОтветитьThe energy, information that clearly wants to be passed on & sheer love of the craft comes off so nicely.
ОтветитьHey Chuck. New to leather. Love your videos.. they are fantastic. I wouldn't even try if I didn't have these.
A friend gave me a grover, but the guide and the tool are at the same location. I see yours has the guide end sticking out further than the cutter.
I also got the Osborne hole punch... either you're the strongest man the the world, or I'm doing something wrong. I have to squeeze like the devil, and put on my bench and push with both hands against the table to get it to go thru.
Thanks Buddy. Watching the Dawgs... May be the year....?
Michael
I know you love veg leather but how thick is the leather that you would use for pocketbook?
ОтветитьI’m digging the videos but, that looks like a Gimp mask hanging up on the wall to the right
ОтветитьThanks for the video
ОтветитьI forgot to mention wood carving as the other hobby.
ОтветитьI guess I should have waited for you to finish explaining. You answered my questions.
ОтветитьHi Chuck, I'm new to leathercraft and enjoy it. because of the pandemic, I have found several other hobbies that overlap each other like bushcraft, survival, and preparedness, and paracord weaving. The leathers I'm working with are 6-8oz vegtan and the odd cuts of scraps from Michael's. I have most of the tools to help me with my projects. I practice the technique on some scrap pieces before starting a project. I have a few small ones on hand, but I want to make a knife and ax sheath. Is the 6-8 oz vegtan good for those projects?
ОтветитьGreat Video thanks allot
ОтветитьTrying to order here at Weaver is impossible !!! They show everything that you don't want. What happened to the good old day when you opened the catalog filled out there order you wanted and mailed it to them ( Weaver or Tandy's) This on line sucks!!!💯😡😠👎👎
ОтветитьGreat teacher and very confident. You have given me a lot of enthusiasm.
ОтветитьThanks!
