Would you replace the MAF if you cleaned it, but you're getting a positive fuel trim?

A dirty engine air filter will also set this code, dirty throttle body will also set this code

Can I use choke cleaner if I don't have MAF cleaner?

Starts and runs ruff 2 seconds shuts off. Removed connector to MAF.
Starts and runs ruff until operating temperature, then runs ruff but good enough to drive.( limp mode) 1990 Volvo 240 DL.
Help !!!!
